I understand your point. But don't you think that the statement "black lives matter" to a white person has some weird underlying assumption that the white person somehow thinks "black lives don't matter"? I mean , isn't at least a little insulting, in that it assumed that the white person needs to be reminded and lectured that black lives matter?
Particularly in light of outrageous black on black homicide and crazy disregard for black life by blacks? Personally, I'd feel better if instead of lecturing white people with an inane slogan that white people already agree with, if black people repeated it like a mantra under their breath before they went out on the street and killed each the approximately 9000 times they kill one another each year.

It's much easier to silence the voices of dissent than debate with them. A lot of problems in the minority communities are caused by minorities. That's a point that many refuse to consider and would rather dismiss than debate.

It was founded by people who idolize a convicted cop killer who advocated more murder of police as well as the start of a racewar. I don't really care what racists like that think.

Insulting at best, racist at worse. Blaming racism for all black problems and calling whites racist has been done so often that it has lost shock value. It just doesn't work anymore...so the insulting perception that "black lives matter" indicates that whites are racist is dismissed. Either that, or it's interpreted as "non-black lives don't really matter"....in which case it's dismissed as openly racist and hateful.
This is why "black lives matter" is not considered a good-faith movement even before its supporters start looting and rioting.

When they decide to recognize all the benefits they're given and act upon it to utilize them, I will give them respect. When you say #alllivesmatter, you're essentially saying that black lives do not matter more than all lives. But they do. Would you go to a cancer park and yell flu needs parks too? You wouldn't. Rosa Parks had five buses but neither were particular fast, but you wouldn't hear that on Faux News. Good job, white America.

Well, you can't expect a BLM supporter to actually be logical. When BLM protesters show up, expect your city to burn down, your liquor stores to be looted, and your local police officers to be shot at.
I don't consider them serious. Just violent, stupid, and unwilling to address problems in the black community. Blaming everyone but themselves hasn't helped the black community in the past, and it won't help them now.
