re: ESPN 30 for 30: O.J. Made In America - RDRGeaux09 on 6/16/16 at 1:55 pm
It wasn't about celebrating that. It was about seeing, for the first time, the justice system act the way it was intended to act for a black person. The prosecution's job was to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that OJ killed them. They failed to do that in the mind of the jury. The defense provided...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: ESPN 30 for 30: O.J. Made In America - RDRGeaux09 on 6/16/16 at 1:39 pm
Ok, I'm going to try and explain this in terms of my parents experience, as I was too young to fully grasp it. Both my parents followed the case and both thought he was guilty based on evidence alone. But as they watched the trial and watched the prosecution bumble along, I remember my mom saying...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

What proof do I need other than the damn documentary that this thread is about???!! The Rodney King case and the Latasha Harlins case are all the proof that I need right there! But I don't argue with fools. Google race and sentincing, there are plenty of articles cited there ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)
re: ESPN 30 for 30: O.J. Made In America - RDRGeaux09 on 6/16/16 at 8:48 am
Please tell me, a black person, more about how the justice system is supremely fair. I'm not talking about just acquittals and convictions. I'm talking about disproportionate sentence lengths, about how white people are given more of a benefit of the doubt than black people are in court. A black...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: ESPN 30 for 30: O.J. Made In America - RDRGeaux09 on 6/16/16 at 8:36 am
Not really this is easily explainable. Miscarriages of justice happen almost all the time with black people in court. That stuff builds up over time and then you have a situation that just blows up. Protests don't just happen over one incident, it's an accumulation of incidents that leave people fee...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)

re: There are bad days and terrible days; 2 year old dead after being left in a car - RDRGeaux09 on 5/12/16 at 11:39 pm
We always do a safety check of the backseat after we get out of the car. After we had our little one we installed those rear facing mirrors so that when we check the rear view mirror we can see him in the back. It's scary to think about that happening to any parent ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: No punishment for 16 West Point cadets in raised-fist photo - RDRGeaux09 on 5/10/16 at 10:39 pm
I really can't believe people are actually equating a raised closed fist to KKK symbols lol. Let me break it down for you morons. The fact that the term "Black Power" and the symbol has no negative connotations is basically because it wasn't used to segregate not demean any person non black. It w...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4)

I can't say enough about Black Panther and Spidey. They were awesome. Loved how Spidey showed his age when taking down Giant Man. Black Panther was just as regal and intimidating as I saw on the trailers. The scope and scale of that airport scene was just amazing. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: J Reed from Bama went 2 picks after us. - RDRGeaux09 on 4/29/16 at 8:44 pm
Except ya know when our offense would bog down in the middle of games. Teams realized none of receivers besides Cooks could get separation and double him and there went the big plays on offense. Thomas, Fleener and a healthy Spiller helps alleviate that problem ...
