Planning a Trip to Europe - Based in One City for 7 Days

I have a lot of hotel points that I want to use on a trip to Europe. The catch is that I have to stay in the same city for 7 days to use one of the Marriott packages (best value) with points. I would like to be located in a city that has easy access to other destinations within an hour of it to make for easy day trips. When I travel Europe, I like to spend a couple days in a city and then move on to the next place...so staying in the same place for 7 days in 'foreign' to me.
I have already been to Europe a few times and have been to the following places:
Florence
Rome
Milan
Munich
Paris
Berlin
London
Antwerp
Brussels
Zurich
Interlaken
Bern
Copenhagen
Hamburg
As of now, Amsterdam seems like the best city for me. I haven't been there before and it is relatively close to Belgium, France, and other places in the Netherlands.
I loved Copenhagen and would love to see some more of the Nordic area, but Sweden is really spread out.
Suggestions for possible areas for me to consider? Thanks

Stockholm.
Incredible city. I was actually depressed when I had to leave.

What is there to do nearby? I imagine I can see most of the city in 2-3 days, so what are the other things going on?
ETA: Looks like most people go and tour the islands surrounding the city.

Stockholm actually may be my choice. I am seeing that you can actually take day trips to Helsinki, Finland and Oslo, Norway because it is only 55 minute flights each way. I have wanted to experience that area of the world ever since seeing Copenhagen so that may actually be feasible.

I'm headed to Amsterdam and Prague in a few weeks

I did Amsterdam this year for New Years. It's a pretty cool city. As far as day trips go, I'd make it to trips within the country. Rotterdam. Haarlem. Everything is not as quick of a trip as you would think

Yep, those + The Hague would be likely destinations. Dortmund would be amazing if a soccer match is going on but that is over 2 hours away.

Very cool spot. And realistically takes about 5 days to do everything it has to offer including if you want to do Montserrat or something.
And as poster stated hour flights aren't as "quick" as they seem, even if you stay overnight. If you're trying to fly back same day, you are going to be subject to the flight schedule that may not give you the full day you were expecting.
But I suppose by OPs list they know this already

Yes, flights would be tough...would need to have 8AM departure and return around 8PM for it to be feasible. Although, it could be possible.
Anyone have thoughts on Reykjavik, Iceland?

Amsterdam is my fav city in europe.. I ride bicylcles so........so many great dutch villages are under an hour away. But Amsterdam has great areas away from the city center too. I could send you to iran, india and thai hoods.....and then you could eat at an indonesian place for dinner. The other option is go to Dubrovik and lie on the beach for a week.

Dubrovnik is on my list eventually...just not sure it will be this one.

what are your interests? outdoor? bars? clubs? drinking? eating? all of it?
i live in berlin and the flights to and from greece are so ridiculously cheap. you can go there and live like a king right now for next to nothing. you could do athens and then hop around to all the islands.
i'll also say porto and lisbon are amongst the prettiest places i've ever been. the food is outstanding. the woman are beautiful. two hour train trip between the two.

Living in MLaga Spain for three months, I love Spain. Take short trips with Ryan Air very in expensive within Europe. All of the Cities you mentioned are fantadtic.
We live in a great Country but we can learn A TON from European Countries.
Have fun travel Safe
