re: Reservists wearing uniform while not on duty - armytiger16
have obsolete uniform components that I wear for yard work/hunting. My Gore-Tex woodlands parka is the bomb for duck hunting in the rain.
I'll rock a old parka in the woods or yard work  I'm more reffering to someone in a full duty uniform having drinks at a Mexica...

re: Reservists wearing uniform while not on duty - armytiger16
The funeral thing is a bit more acceptable if still a little weird. When I see junior enlisted rolling around in uni at restaurants and shopping in Baton Rouge I assume it's some reservists/guardsmen looking for a pat on the back. Like others said, I couldn't wait to get out of my uniform at the ...

re: Any book recommendations on the Greco-Persian wars? - armytiger16
Check out The Long War Series, first book is killer of men by Christian Cameron or Gates of Fire by Stephen Pressfield. These are historical fiction but isn't all Homeric based history? Dan Carlin's latest series of HArdcore History, King of Kings is on the Greco-Persian W...
So the feed store is the only option. They do not always have 22, so started doing 18 on days where a stack can be mixed without crystallizing. Gets it over fast, Pulls quicker.
:ahh: So due to the unavailability of the proper size needle at the drugstore you go pickup a larger ...

This is for weight lifting? :rotflmao: I'll lift a few weights but when you start casually talking about blasting through veins to inject stuff I'm way out. What are you looking to accomplish exactly?...

re: Louisiana Veterans Drivers License - armytiger16
If they actually check its for active duty and disabled veterans. Most clerks don't care. There's usually a sign or piece of paper taped near the register that shows the acceptable ids to make it easy for the clerks. Same for Home Depot....

re: Louisiana Veterans Drivers License - armytiger16
I have the old one that just says "veteran" under the picture. Someone told me sex offenders had the same thing it just said "sex offender" obviously. I kind of wish I didn't have it on my license. The whole "thank you for your service" bit every time I buy a six pack at the grocery store...
