re: 5 Things Cyclists Do You Didn’t Know Are Perfectly Legal - armytiger16
Its ridiculous to justify running a red light because other people do it. I'm not trying to frame this as bikes are bad and cars are good. People in cars and on bikes that don't stop at stop signs and run red lights are a-holes. Eventually this behavior will result in an accident and likely inj...

re: 5 Things Cyclists Do You Didn’t Know Are Perfectly Legal - armytiger16
They do not have to stop at red lights. Cyclists are not obstructed by windshields and have superior judgment than people who drive motor vehicles. I think they get deputized to waive certain "unnecessary" laws after 100 hours of road cycling. Sort of like a sky marshal just with tighter pants. ...
I may roll through a stop sign (I'm not unclipping and stopping completely at a 4 way stop with no other cars around), but so do most cars.
And here it is  I have a family member that says similar things about biking. He acts like its unreasonable to follow certain ro...

re: CCW......cocked and locked. Is it safe? - armytiger16
The US Army began issuing the Colt 1911 - which is always carried with a round in the chamber & the hammer cocked -- in 1911. Some military personnel still carry one.
A very small and unique percentage. Not sure what your point is here. I agree with the statement on a small p...

re: CCW......cocked and locked. Is it safe? - armytiger16
I'm of the opinion not to have it cocked and loaded. Maybe the army got to me with being terrified of breaking the rules of engagement but I don't feel threatened enough for that. If I'm rolling through the hood then that's different. I feel conifedent in recognizing a threat though. ...
1 - Bergdahl thought the leadership he saw was piss poor and wanted to make it known
It starts with him having concerns about failure of leadership in basic training. Bowe is and idiot and narcissist, maybe even mentally ill. He never should have been in the army. ...

I'm pretty sure my post immediately above yours mentions nothing about national security. What's wrong with not wanting a business to distribute information on their customers purchases on message boards? Pretty simple concept. :banghead:...

Not a great idea to post people's business on the Internet. I'd be pretty pissed if I hopped on tiger droppings and saw my gun purchases were being advertised and would probably ask the business who is responsible....

Sounds like it would be nice for your situation. You have your whole life ahead of you so go live somewhere cool for a while. If you don't like it you can buy some cookie cutter starter home in a boring new developement in prarieville. Be responsible but don't live like you are 40 years old with...
