re: BRPD and EBRSO Are Currently Understaffed By 167 Officers - armytiger16
You probably complain about crime or lambast foreign policy of the United States on Iran but have no interest in taking an oath and serving the republic. To quote on of my favorite books Starship Troopers
Tell me the moral difference, if any, between the citizen and the civilian?. A soldi...
Those douchebags with complexes can still achieve the latter simultaneously and they do.
Ok, so we are agreed that there's, and I contend a minority, that are douchebags, do you want to do away with law enforcement because there might be bad officers?
I agree with you, but why should a cop have to work 60 hours a week so he can buy a boat and ATV? If he decides to get married she will have to work too. Children need things, and college funds.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I think higher base pay based on good measures for succe...

re: BRPD and EBRSO Are Currently Understaffed By 167 Officers - armytiger16
I think most people have a myopic view of what police actually do. The average person only interacts with police during a negative encounter such as speeding tickets or dui. The reality is that there are a wide variety of jobs that police perform and the majority revolve around non punitive actions ...
And the acoustics. Good lord it's one of the loudest restaurants I've been to.
I like the merchant a lot but it is almost unbearably loud inside. They have to put up more aucustix dampening or something. The drinking crews don't seem to mind but when I go in there for a burger with...
As a liberal, I'm offended by Americans owning slaves hundreds of years ago... However, I refuse to comment on Africans and Muslims that currently owm slaves today...
Great point! re: How smart is your average police officer? - armytiger16
The average police officer/sheriff deputy/state trooper is probably around the 30 percentile. The vast majority of all LE is below the overall average. It is a major problem, but everyone is too sensitive and immature to discuss that fact. Over half of all LE are former military. How many int...

Let's talk large swimbaits for bass. - armytiger16
I've just started experimenting with large (7-10inches) swimbaits to target big bass. Anyone use big swimbaits and have some tips? I was a bit unsure about throwing a 10 inch swimbait until my first hit on one. It blew my reel clean off my rod when I set the hook. ...

I once saw a guy with an Irish Wolfhound service dog at a crowded conference. That dog had to have been 6 feet long. It seemed...rediculous. I'm not sure a horse sized dog is very respectful of those around you, regardless of disability. However, someone that legitimately needs a service d...

Very weird story. I had to google the player to find out what happened and turns out it gets weirder. The player that got hit in the eye was charged in 2014 for molesting kids.
