I wouldnt expect a place to give you a loaner car like that. Thats the equivalent of me dropping my car off at the goodyear down the road and asking them for a loaner to go get some lunch while they change my tires.

Price Leblanc Toyota in BR will do that. Maybe not for same day service, but for sure if they have to keep it overnight.

- Don't expect rental, although for repeat work I agree that in principle they should furnish one.
- Give them one more chance.
- Prepare to contact corporate and use social media to post those pics. Some people will be like 'meh' but others considering a purchase certainly won't go to that dealer if that's the quality they're good with.

Anyone can eyeball that and know it's wrong. Pretty bad they let it go.

If it had been me, I wouldn't have held back on naming the dealership. That's just blatant lack of quality and lack of concern.

Not asking for an enterprise or hertz rental. That's stupid. Asking for a dealer promo/loaner vehicle due to the inconvenience of being without my vehicle due to a shitty paint job by said dealer's body shop. That's not asking for a lot man.

not as much as you would expect. Only pulled over once and that's when an undercover got me racing a C6 Vette down I-55 in Jackson

The front end of the dealership don't give a frick about the body shop. That's not their problem.

Nice....NOLA stations are holding me down because of the tint on my front windows. I bought the car stock from Lamarque Ford and people are telling me I can't get a brake tag....even though I have gotten 2 from the same place the last 2 years and have never installed tint

That sucks man. Have you tried coming in with your windows down? I'm sure you could always find a shady shop in NOLA somewhere. Just go to the hood

Go to any Lexus dealership and note on the new vehicles there the color difference between the plastic bumpers and the metal fenders, hood, trunk deck and/or rear hatch.

All those vehicles are built to a higher quality level than any Dodge.

It's Automotive Life Circa 2015.

I wouldn't have bought such a trashy vehicle. Had I mistakenly bought a PoS trashy vehicle like yours, I surely wouldn't have painted it a trashy color. It's fairly safe to say that this problem wouldn't have presented itself in the first place if you weren't trash.

tldr: be less trashy

3 stage paint, especially one like you describe is notoriously a pain in the arse to match, and the metal and plastic parts newly painted never look the same. the paint job itself is not bad. You also have to remember there are often color variations (several) with one 3 stage paint. I have seen really good body shops, dealer and not paint shite like that 2-3 times. Pick a body shop for the work they do, not whether they are tied to a dealer or not. There is some great work done in small shops, and there is shitty work done in some of the best, independent and dealer. No orange peel, trash or incorrect mixing there though. BTW time will soften the color difference as well, but since you are all about the appearance and now, doubt you have time to wait.
