So you didn't buy from them, but you expect them to give you a loaner? If you can drive that far to buy, maybe you should drive that far for your repair work.

Should they stand by their work? Yes, but they don't care about you, they want you to go away. When the guy sanding & painting see your car again, they're going to bitch about you. Not because their work is shitty, but because you brought it back. It's not logical, but it's the reality.

youre right about that. Dealership customer service is nothing like it use to be, especially where I stay because there is no competition. Next closest dodge dealership is 40 miles away and that reflects in the pricing of vehicles around here. The prices around here is ridiculous. When I was shopping, this particular dealership tried selling a used sxt with only option being foglights for 29k. Got my RT new for less than that with 6 free oil changes. According to posters here, I'm an a-hole for that though

In the perfect world, I would have gone to my buddies shop in Baton Rouge for the repair work but who wants to drive 4 hours for repairs that any shop should be able to perform.

Oh well, if they can't get it right this time, I'll be filing my formal complaint with fiat Chrysler and going from there.

You should have gone to see Michael Joe Cannon and told him you are a 5* recruit of Rev. Freeze's. You would've gotten your loaner.

Thanks man. Despite all the shite I get on the OT, redline tri coat is the only color I would buy in a challenger. In combination with smart wax USA products, people at shows ask me if its candy paint. This is at a show right after i cleaned it up with this quick detailer called "SmartOne" which is a quick detailer, polish and wax in one. No filter

How would you know about dealer customer service. You're in your early 20s right? What a vast amount of experience you must have in dealer customer service.

kind of a shitty car show huh?

a 300 with stock wheels and a stock impala, unless those glowy headlights make it modded... hear they add 30 horsepower or so!

seriously, was that the requirement to sign up for the show? have the glow headlights?

i've purchased 5 vehicles in my life. Spent about 3 months searching for my current vehicle and 2 months searching for my previous charger. In my area, dealerships have been very unwillinging to come off the price. Like I stated previously they wanted 29k for a used SXT(v6) with the only option being fog lights and it had 30k on the clock. Another dealership in the Jackson area wanted 31k for a used challenger Rt manual with 25k miles. Neither willing to come off price. Houston(Finnegan dodge, Mac Haik, Gulfgate), Atlanta(Mall of Ga), and Dallas(Moritz(sp?)) all were willing to negotiate on both new and used vehicles. Eventually after using Will Covers car buying guide and email negotiations, I got one dealership to sell a new RT for 27 plus tax and to earn my business, threw in 6 free oil changes. I even took that buyers order to a dealership in this area to see if they would even try to match it. Mississippi is much more of a sellers market and the dealerships around here know it. Not to say i blame them. If I know I could sell a car for 35k if I wait, why would I sell it for 27k. Free market so they also can't get upset when I chose to travel to another state to buy a vehicle for 27k when I could have gotten an identically optioned vehicle for 35k here

Also, I don't know how many service and dealership managers would accept this type of repair work. Do you?

What's the paint code on your car? It should be "PRY"
Make sure it's a "Y" and not a "V"

Look on the door jamb for the paint code.

its PRY(redline tri coat). Did I type V earlier? If so, that's a typo.
