This coroner is absolutely pushing a political narrative. Without a doubt.

This is true but only insomuch that there has never been a first case. There are ZERO overdose deaths in marijuana since the beginning of time.

No, actually science tells us it's not physical possible.

This is just dumb. Alcohol is big business and every person alive knows you can OD, yet it's still legal.

You are really dumb.

About 25 years ago, my then girlfriend in college, wanted to try some pot for the first time. She started freaking out saying she thinks she's od'ing. I was like baby, you may want to eat your arm off in about 15 minutes but I assure you you aren't od'ing on pot. It made for a good laugh.

LaPlace is internationally renowned for their cutting edge forensic pathology so this must be legit.

They dont do their own. Forensic pathology is using a labs results. Which are 100% accurate and test for all foriegn substances in the blood , urine, hair, and tissue samples (if needed).
Including things that should be there.

The thought that the soze of the community makes these results less accurate is a moronic idea.

I wont act like THC can absolutely kill. Probabaly she has some kind of issue that THC magnifies, and maybe too much made that condition lethal.

One thing is certain. The woman is dead and a 30 year experienced coroner hasnt found a dufferent underlying cause.

There are plenty of links to show the risks of THC over consumption. You can have too much of anything.

You morons need to quit pretending you're inhaling unicorn farts.

So literally the first OD from marijuana comes in LaPlace, La during push for legalization. Do you understand how many people use marijuana everyday and for how long this has been going on?

It’s going to be funny seeing the results of a legitimate third party review this case, which definitely will I assume since it’s a groundbreaking case in the sense it has never happened before in history

I once took a marijuana and OD’d. Scary fricking night. I ate a pizza with pineapple on it. Blessed to be alive.

A 39-year old woman in the South doesn’t have any other physical diseases that could potentially cause death?

Yeah, I’m not remotely buying that.

There's nothing in medical training that specifically addresses determining cause of death.

Overconsumption risks and death are not mutually exclusive.

The risk of THC overconsumption would more likely present as psychological symptoms (i.e. anxiety, increased heart rate, psychosis). There’s virtually no scientific evidence that THC will kill you.

That said, it can exasperate pre-existing medical conditions. But that goes for anything you consume. And I certainly don’t buy that a 39-year old woman in the South didn’t have pre-existing medical conditions like high BP, obesity, heart disease, etc.

Substance abuse was one of my degree concentrations. If there were deaths exclusively linked to overconsumption of THC, we would’ve talked about.
