We desperately need a true PG
Who in the league do you consider to be a “true pg”? That position like the lumbering big is fading into irrelevance. ...
Yes I know. But Chet is not AD. AD is not giving up 20 rebounds to JV or Nurkic like Chet does. Theres a HUGE difference. Again you’re assuming Chet is built like these players if he was they wouldn’t have these massive rebounding issues.
Thunder don’t want a lumbering big like Jon...

re: Hawkins on the bench?

Teams generally run 8-9 man rotations in the playoffs. Pels staff decided (and impact stats back them up) that Hawk is not ready for playoff basketball as a rookie. Pels oddly gave Dyson 3 minutes of run last night as our 9th, but teams typically do not do that and I think Dyson gets more of those...
Yeah, CJ's handle is fine, he's just not an explosive athlete with a great first step. Same for Brandon. They both struggle to get past good defenders when being pressured one-on-one. Sadly, Willie seems to endorse the old NBA cliche that, at the end of the game, you just give it to ...

CJ has been great this year because he has been an amazing perimeter shooter and wasn't asked to do too much. With Ingram shitting the bed this post-season, CJ is being expected to carry too much of a load. He's also a histroically non-clutch playoff performer....
If the increase was to put underground lines then sure. Instead this is a money grab since whatever is planned to happen will just get axed.
Does this not include burying lines??? What exactly is Entergy doing to "make the grid more resilient"? ...
Actually, STFU, Green coached a helluva game tonight. You should be able to trust CJ.
They don’t call that man a basketball terrorist because he’s clutch in the playoffs. ...
Full MLE means you aren’t a tax team. Can they swing that? I haven’t looked at next year’s cap situation yet.
Assuming no extensions/trades that change the numbers and Jonas/Naji walk, we are at ~$150M with 10 players for next year (Z, BI, CJ, Trey, Herb, Dyson, Larry, Hawk, Jose...
No hard feelings against Hayes but frick the Lakers!
Hayes is a piece of shite. NAW and Josh are good people. Old arse lemon-head can go frick himself....
I’d let Jonas walk, hope Jalen Smith will take the full MLE, and pick one of the centers with our ‘24 1st (Ware, Filipowski, Missi, or even Edey if you want an old school Jonas type big)....
CJ is absolute garbage when he's not hitting 3's. The damn near same could be said about Murphy.
The counter to that is we are damn near unbeatable when those two are hitting 3's. They are the only 2 high volume perimeter shooters we have until Hawkins develops. They account fo...
That would be all fine and good if we had a legit 3rd big that Willie would play and Nance was making closer to the minimum than $10 million.
Nance playing starter minutes is the issue. Nance is a fine bench big and brings off the court intangibles. He's making below MLE, so not ...
His scoring efficiency isn't elite, but if he played within the offense more you can live with volume shooting at that efficiency. Or, if he was elite at scoring efficiency, you can live with the ball sticking. The problem is both. A volume shooter who isn't super efficient and also is a...
In Griff's defense, he never tells the whole truth, and one of the strengths he does have is he will cut his losses and change direction. He's done that multiple times here. I still think the odds are low simply because the trade options for BI really aren't great, but I also believe the boar...
Of course it is. Him and trey almost have to have an on night for the.pels to win against good teams.
Because they make up 40% of our made 3’s. That’s the biggest problem with the Zion/Ingram pairing. You can’t have your top two playmakers/offensive engines making less than 1.5 3...
I do remember AD picking up 2 quick fouls when Jonas was in there in the 2nd half though.
Jonas had 3 fouls and 4 turnovers in his 4 minutes in the second half. ...
Dang, hope everything is ok with him.
He’s taking the OJ news pretty hard. ...
In our first Gulf war, we quickly liberated Kuwait ending Iraq occupation. Just because we didn't take Iraq does not mean we did not win the war. We crippled the Iraqi military, killing thousands of their troops and wiping out their tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery....
They jumped b/c he's in a role where he's no longer the #2 guy on the team, and is a clear #3, and is taking 3 less shots this year than he has over the last 8 years.
CJ’s efficiency didn’t just go up because he’s taking 3 less shots. It’s because of where he’s taking his shots. ...
Unless its in his wheel house to do it and makes the consistently. Teams gameplan to take mid-range shooters away from their "spots". They also run shooter off the 3 pt line. If they are good at it, it’s in their bag, defenses do have to account for it.
They’re are maybe 10 players i...
