Visiting here this weekend for the first time with my wife, I am astounded at how beautiful this city is. Visually, it looks similar to Seattle or San Diego but is much bigger and actually cleaner. Unfortunately the Cubs aren't in town, but I would definitely make a trip back here.

I'm equally impressed by the women here as well; tons of beautiful women

The same can be said for most travel destinations; in winter I prefer to stay in Los Angeles where it's 69 degrees.

You actually don't want to be there when the Cubs are in town. It turns, very quickly, into a shithole.

I do like Chicago a lot though, lived there for 2 years and always enjoyed it.

Chicago is absolutely beautiful and you're right - the women there are as well.

Went last year and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed at TheWit with a spectacular view and hit all the museums, the planetarium, aquarium, etc. The city is laid out so well around all of the major attractions. Ive never been a big city guy, but I can't wait to go back.

It's a great food town too. Go to Smith & Wolenski's if you want a great steak.

Edt: Sucks in winter though

Chicago definitely gets a bad wrap, I'm pretty sure the crime ridden area is nowhere near the main tourist destinations. Nobody should be dissuaded from visiting here due to the high crime in the south side.

It is the best city in America for about 2 and a half months of summer. No better place to be for the 4th of July each year. I've done it twice and absolutely love it.

Winters are absolutely unbearable though. I never could live there. You literally can't go outside for about 1/3 to 1/2 the year.

I am out and about in Lincoln Park today (my neighborhood).

Bar-hopping and patio sitting - it's incredible. You picked a great weekend to be here.

It's by far my favorite place that I've lived. It's in my top 3 as far as cities that I've visited (along with Barcelona and San Francisco).

There is nothing like a summer Saturday in Chicago. It's the best place in the world - especially if you're single and in your late 20's.

Oh, and the women...

Edit to add: Go somewhere fun to watch the Blackhawks tonight. It's going to get rowdy AF.
