re: Have you ever flatly rejected a woman's offer of secks? - 911Moto
Yes, because I'm married and also didn't believe in casual sex when I was single. A couple were pissed and others accepted it well. My wife (while we were dating) was embarrassed as frick when I turned her down the first time. ...

re: What kind of bike did you roll with when you were a kid? - 911Moto
Schwinn Stingray in the early, early days, then a Mongoose, then a Redline Proline back around 1980 - when they were still the REAL Redlines and you had them custom built. My brother pretty much started the BMX craze in St. Bernard around 1977. Had a Mongoose before kids knew what a Mongoose was....

re: Is Borden chocolate milk the greatest drink ever? - 911Moto
Brown's is better imo
Brown's was the best - then they replaced it with that nasty TruMoo crap. I'll never forgive them for that. Only Borden Dutch Chocolate for me now....

re: What was your first car? - 911Moto
Had 3 in high school... End of freshmen year I had a new customized GMC stepside pickup. Sophomore year I got a new 280ZX Turbo. Senior year I got a new 300ZX Turbo. I was a bit spoiled....

re: Snake ID please - 911Moto
Showoff. I've only crossed paths with 2 in my life. My brother caught one in St. Bernard back in the day. It escaped in our house. Also saw a dead one in the street back then....

re: OT Astronomers, I Need Telescope Recs - 911Moto
Oh, and it goes without saying. The bigger the better
This isn't necessarily the way to go. Just get a decent size and make sure a good bit of your money is going to a quality mount and a couple good eyepieces. I have the Celestron 130 SLT like the one pictured in the post above....

re: Another snake ID - 911Moto
I present this Northern as evidence that water snakes can cross over to the "pretty" side. I agree that most of our southern water species tend to be drab and fairly consistent, but after looking a...

re: Another snake ID - 911Moto
The fact that it doesn't clearly jump out at us is what pushes me to water snake - what has more variations in color and pattern than water snakes? If it were anything else I think it would be more obvious. This one is driving me crazy....

re: The Herpetology Photo Thread (Reptiles & Amphibians) - 911Moto

re: Another snake ID - 911Moto
I don't know - the dorsal blotches seem a bit too irregular and widely spaced for a Prairie King. We need a ventral shot of this thing. Might be a genetic morph of something. Alx, Hog nose crossed my mind at first glance too. One of the things that makes me think water snake is that the colors ...

re: Another snake ID - 911Moto
Alx, I'm actually pretty stumped by this one. I think I'm changing my guess to Midland water snake. Or just plain Northern water snake, but Midland is a subspecies that looks a little closer. I'm focusing on the brownish triangular areas (between the black blotches/bands) with a black spot in ...

re: Another snake ID - 911Moto
Banded and brown water snakes are two completely different species. Though I am leaning towards Banded (aka Southern) water snake - Nerodia fasciata. I'd like to see the belly though. That pattern and coloration are somewhat atypical if it is N fasciata....

Air purifiers - do they work? - 911Moto
The dust is so thick in my house I'm almost afraid to breathe. I've looked into air purifiers before but reviews always seem mixed. Anyone have a good one that makes a noticeable difference? Or should I just hire a Mexican or find a less lazy wife to tackle the dust issue?...
