Has a group of people ever been so wrong collectively?(Posted by rickgrimes on 11/18/12 at 10:04 pm)
I am talking about all the bashing Nate Silver took on PT. If you just google Nate Silver and TD you will find a gold mine of hilarity. You can spend a few hours reading that stuff. It is absolutely entertaining. (And curiously all those threads are locked.)
What I don't get is how you can doubt an uber-nerd like him? Math doesn't lie, whatever his political leanings might be...or else he loses his credibility. Why would he put himself in that position if he didn't truly believe in his work?

So 50 people disagreed with someone, and that is the biggest group to be wrong in your opinion? Didn't 95% of blacks vote for Obama because they thought their lives would be better? And after higher unemployment and growing numbers in poverty, they did it again? That seems bigger.
