Well, considering they've been trying to do it since the 70's, I'd say not in my lifetime.


It does piss me off that many US cars have a mix of metric and standard bolts on them in their assembly. Pick one or the other for crying out loud and stick with it. That shite is maddening.

Was supposed to happen in 97. Much easier to use but too many Americans don’t feel they are smart enough to learn it. Should have happened years ago.

It's really all about penis length.

Most men feel comfortable with 6 inches, and quite happy with 8 inches. But let's convert that to metric.

6 inches is 0.15 meters. And 8 inches is 0.2 meters.

It's pretty clear the metric system will never catch on if your penis size always starts with a zero.
