How are you rocking a 24" inseam at 6'2? I'm 5'10 and comfortably fit in 32x32's.

didnt mean perfect in that way, I should have used a different word. Perfect meant in the middle of the range of healthy standards With BMI, it is easy to point out examples of people that debunk it(any NFL linebacker, any weight lifter etc etc) However, it is very hard to find a healthy person that would not also show healthy with the waist to height ratio. It has very few outliers
Gotcha.

She's right about it not being healthy.
Just by looking at the plus size chick on the cover, we don't know if she's healthy or not. It's not like she's 400+ pounds and obvious that she's unhealthy.
She could very easily be in very good health at her size.

I don't like that we're talking about full-figured women because it's glamorizing them because your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches]. she is going to catch hell for this

She is also only 22. If she carries that weight throughout her life their is a far greater chance of developing health problems than if she was at a lower weight.

There is a guy that uses the same primary physician I do, he is 360 lbs. 52 years old. No diabetes. No high blood pressure. No high cholesterol. No health issues at all. My primary physician is 44 and weighs 170. High blood pressure and high cholesterol. It's genetics.

At 6'2" the "perfect" waist would be 37" That would be incredibly fat

That link says I could blow up to a 37" waist and still be "healthy".
Their definition of "waist" is circumference 1" above the navel. That's not where men's pants fit, baw.

My waist is 38" and I'm only 270

It's not often I agree with Mouton, but when I do, it is usually emphatic agreement.

Well, that might be the case after 52 years but you just wait and see how it is in 20 more years. At around age 70, your fat buddy will be more unhealthy than his skinny Doctor.
Genetics has as much if not more to do with health issues than anything. This coming from a fit man of 46 who has had Stage IV Lymphoma twice in 5 years. Comes from my moms side. Her dad, her brother, her sister and she all died of some sort of cancer. Her only surviving sister has Breast Cancer now but is in remission. My uncle died 22 years ago from the same sub type of Lymphoma I had.

No it's hyperbole to people who have a fricked up idea of what fat is. If my waist was 37" I'd be incredibly fat.
