What you got?

Let's say your only weapon is a wooden baseball bat.

Your mother. She's huge

I've seen her take a baseball bat all the way up to the hilt though. Scruffy was there.

Hand to hand combat I have always said a pitbull would be my equal. I feel I would win, but I would take some damage.

Shear size, cow with a baseball bat.

Does the animal know y'all are fighting? That is a crucial element. I feel a giraffe is easy, just break a leg and dodge the neck swinging.

maybe a large timber wolf?

anything less than 250# I'd think I might be able to take on

I'm 6'0 215 so something around that I would feel comfortable with. Maybe even up to 300 depending on what animal it is

Mountain lion. Anything bigger would snap your bat first swing. Then you'd have to pick up the best piece and hope you stab it in the right place before you get fricked up.

Baby seal; like the really young ones with the soft fur and tender meat.

Do I have to kill it or just win?

Also, I assume I have to get it to confront me or catch it in the wild, yeah?
