Ive had them eat out of my hand at the zoo. I am sure I could get it calm by feeding it, put some food on the ground and then smack it in the head with the bat while it is eating off the ground.

I wonder what kind of bro strength it took for the frat members to kill ostrich at LSU many years ago.

The largest thing a person could reliably win a fight with on a consistent basis using a bat would be a medium sized dog, maybe, maybe 70 pounds.

Unless you are a former president of France. Not a good day for the humans:

Former French President Chirac Hospitalised After Mauling by his Clinically Depressed Poodle
By IAN SPARKS FOR MAILONLINE
UPDATED: 12:45 EST, 21 January 2009

Former French president Jacques Chirac was rushed to hospital after being mauled by his own 'clinically depressed' pet dog.
The 76-year-old statesman was savaged by his white Maltese dog - which suffers from frenzied fits and is being treated with anti-depressants.
The animal, named Sumo, had become increasingly violent over the past years and was prone to making 'vicious, unprovoked attacks', Chirac's wife Bernadette said.

You can do youtube searches for any of the animals listed and see how powerful they are when they need to be. We are so weak and fragile in comparsion

Hey, this dude kicked this monkeys arse. Cheated with the dirt to the face thing, but the Marquess of Queensberry Rules are out the window when you're fighting a monkey!

I could most likely take out a rat.

But I would scream a lot.

Probably a bobcat or Lynx or coyote

Those size animals would frick you up along the way but you could eventually win.

Biggest predator I could reliably take in a fight with just a bat on land?

Great white shark.

I've actually always wanted to drag a shark onto the beach and just savagely maul it.

One of my 2nd cousins was involved in this. I remember them having to pay something like 10K to replace the ostrich.

Ostriches are assholes. That's $10k well spent.
Those bald b*tches don't even bother bury their eggs and are greedy as hell in the drive thru petting zoo

Pecking you in the head trying to get more food til you have to punch them in the face.

A buddy of mine and me encountered some bears in Yosemite. They didn't attack us as we chased them up a tree using burning sticks and the flash from my camera. What did them in was when my buddy started playing his banjo. They hated that and took off fast. They reacted as most creatures did when he played that damn thing.

I'll say an adult male pit bull, and I know that from experience because I had to get ahold of one coming at me and take it to the ground and pin it down until the owner came outside to see what all the noise was.
