Is there any way anyone could take a hippo bare handed?

I could give you a 6 shot revolver and a sword and you couldn't take down a full sized hippo in close quarters.

I always love these threads. Plenty of answers are people just joking but you do have the occasional people answering honestly.

Other examples might be a walrus that you could keep your distance and use speed and the bat to your advantage.

Walruses can get to over 4000lbs. You have zero chance fighting them with a bat, or anything else you can wield.

Walruses can fight with polar bears and hold their own.

What makes y'all think a giraffe is just going to let some random tard walk up and start swinging? This isn't some cow. It's a wild animal that lives with some of the fiercest carnivores on the planet. Not only will it probably hear you or smell you before you can get 500 yards from it, the motherfricker is so high in the air it can probably see your dumbass while you're 4 miles down the road in your Kia Seoul.

Ive had them eat out of my hand at the zoo. I am sure I could get it calm by feeding it, put some food on the ground and then smack it in the head with the bat while it is eating off the ground. Their heads aren't that big and that protected so I am sure a proper swing from a bat would either kill it or KO it.

i dont think that is really the premise of the thread. im sure you can knock out plenty animals if they just sit there and you take a baseball bat to their skull.

Just watch first 20 seconds better yet listen to the sound. Giraffes do not play.

I mean he said you get a bat and there are no rules on how the fight will start. I would be fricked if I didn't at least KO it with the first shot because THEN it would be an actual fight. Giraffes are around 3500 pounds I would guess that is the biggest animal I could take even with a free shot, others that size usually have much thicker necks and heads.

No shite! It would either stomp me out or swing its neck and send me flying 50 feet in the air which is why I would swing VERY hard on my first attempt! Also, its not like you can outrun those frickers or climb a tree to hide so you need to make it a KO or kill shot.

I think I could take a giraffe: Sweep out it's legs with a sliding Norris then finish with a Kerry von Eric suplex.

Ummm... I think I could frick up an ostrich if I got a good grip on the neck. One good kick from those legs, and I'd probably be out though

An ostrich would kick the living shite out of you. You couldn't keep a grip on its neck and it would be lights out for you.

Yup and those bastards legs bend backwards unlike human knees and they have a middle claw that can f you up. I have witnessed an emu striking a friends uncle...40 stitches.

And a mountain lion?
Google mountain lion attack and watch a couple vids of the poor suckers who survived.
