Bigger question for the 'high and mighty Christians' and not just the normal ones:

If a guy is somehow involved in some form or fashion with a murder can he never be forgiven?

Sure, but you have to own up to your sins to be forgiven for them. Let me ask you, has he preached about his life experiences which led him to the Lord? In other words, do you feel he is genuine in his belief or is he just posturing. I feel he is posturing. Just my opinion.

For everyone who thanks god for the win, someone can also blame him for the loss. And bad dance moves.

I've personally never heard anyone give God the credit for a win, only for giving the talent needed to win.

Different things there. If you want to blame God for not giving you the talent to be an NFL player, That's cool.

These are the two people he claims he never stabbed to death. Ray Lewis is a POS. What also nerves me about that POS is that his son got a (his words) full ride at Miami University. Wouldn't you think that POS would give that scholarship to another kid who really needed it financially. The POS could pay for his sons college with money he made from that single game last night. Ray Lewis is as far from a class act as you can get. Did I mention he is a POS?

Not for me to judge. I don't personally know Ray Lewis, know what goes on behind closed doors, nor do I consider him a friend therefore I really don't care. Again, I'll repeat myself, I don't see why people that don't know Ray Lewis personally care either. That was my point. He's not preaching in a church asking for your money. He's not pointing his finger at anyone or asking anyone to do anything for him. He's just being a witness to his beliefs.

murder thing is irrelevant...he was never convicted of anything.

This was my point. Look at Rae Carruth, he killed somebody, was found guilty and look where's he's at now.

If you have talent or marketability, you're a commodity and "the show" will do what is necessary to keep you afloat.

if someone is claiming the Lord but doing it in a false way

How do you know it's false? Maybe he does believe god gave him all his talent, etc. And nothing says you can't do a touchdown dance for fun and celebration. I'm not sure that's blasphemous at all.

he should check with you...apparently you have some opinions that god should take into consideration

So how do you feel about the Manning brothers getting scholarships as well? Or is this only applicable to african americans who stood a murder trial and proven innocent?
