Yes.

I thought given the circumstances he played a pretty decent game in Seattle. The biggest thing that hurts is despite Jimmy's greatness we don't have a WR who is going to beat defenders off the line

Still top three in my most awesome opinion.

Manning
Rogers
Brees

My board would be more like: Rogers, Manning, Brees/Brady
..with everybody else well behind these 4.

San Fran, Seattle or Carolina would all be unstoppable with any one of these QB's and I think all of them already have good QB's....just not as good as those 4.

yeah no doubt he is still elite. he just needs more talent around him. we have grown old on offense, most of our guys have been here since the beginning of paytons tenure.

look at what talented wr's did for brett favre and peyton manning late in their careers.

Yep....time to get rid of Brees. I mean, the fact that he couldn't manage to keep up with the passing display Wilson put on in that inclement weather is beyond me.

100% agree about a youth infusion at the receiving position. And I'm not like a lot of people wanting speed receivers first and foremost. I think we already have one and another who is on ir and a restricted fa. I'd like to see them get some quick physical guys who can free up quicker and more consistently.

I wouldn't trade Brees for any other QB in the game.

..but it is obvious that he's declining and on the downhill side of his career. As much as I love him and what he's done for the Saints.

Very true...which is why I'd take Roger's over him today. But in their prime, I'd stick with Brees.

are you going to call a season where he threw for 5162 yards, 39 tds, 12 int, and a 68.6 completion rate a decline? Thats with playing behind a bad line and nonexistent running game for most of the year. Give this guy some talent and keep him upright and he will play great.

Brees is still elite. Every one is upset because he played like absolute dog shite in the first half. And don't give me the "it was the gameplan" argument. Every throw he made was yards off. I know it was the best pass D in the league, but he was just off yesterday. Weather played a huge part. The clock issues in the 4th were completely on him. I've never seen him have these issues with the play clock before and it is really hurting us down the stretch. A timeout would have been huge on the last drive.

elite qb's win on the road, brees just can't do it,

if the saints ever win another sb with brees we better have the #1 seed and the sb better be in a dome

If you're going to make a case for a quarterback, please get his name right. It's Aaron Rodgers, not Aaron Rogers.

Not banned. Just finally getting to watch a game in a bar with friends. Instead of in a coffee shop or library on my laptop surrounded by law books.
