I wouldn't because Tom Brady doesn't play for the Saints.

Cool, I never said he did, but thanks for the clarification.

Tom Brady, who doesn't play for the Saints, how would you say he's been on the road this year?

Again, not relevant to my criticism. I know you're trying to spin an argument that durrr durrr Brady sucks, too, but here's the thing: I never said the Saints should replace Brees. I said he shits the bed on the road. And he did.

What another QB did is wholly irrelevant.

He's a first ballot Hall of Famer. Of that there is no doubt. But he also shite the bed big time on the road this year. Of that there also is no doubt.

Agreed. Personally I don't consider him elite anymore. Not a part of the Big 4.

His arm strength and size are catching up to him.

I'd say he's a top 5 QB at this point, with Manning, Brady, and Rodgers at the top, Brees at 4, and Luck pushing him at 5 based on potential.

Outside of the dome, he is an average QB at best and at times - atrocious.

This is laughable.

How would you compare Brees on the road vs Wilson at home this year?

How does Brees not make the Big 4 any more, but Brady does?

That makes no sense

Yes. Had an inconsistent season, but still elite. With a consistent running game next year and a deep reciever, he'll be fine.

Slowly making his exit out of the Big 4 IMO

Just curious, what do you base that on?

I don't think there are any QB's in the league that can throw accurately in a hostile environment and 20-30 mph winds...and despite that he still finished with a 300+ yard game. Calm down chicken little.

Jesus people, we lost. On the road, to a better all-around team. Yea, Brees played like shite in the first half but brought us back in the second and we had a shot to tie at the end...can't ask for much more in that situation.

He just had ANOTHER 5000 yard season of which he owns nearly half of all time. He is one of the GOAT and is still right there with Manning & Brady as the elite of today. Oh yea...and he's younger than both of them.

These comments throwing Russell Wilson's performance for comparison are absurd.

Remind me how much money Wilson is making a year?

Freaking joke.

Fine then, compare him to Brady.

Do you not think Wilson will get a huge bump in salary with his next contract? And that's based on his numbers which are nearly identical to Brees' road numbers.

Brees has played average/poorly in 10 games this year. Hard to consider someone elite when they can't perform outside of their Dome.

I do think he needs some new weapons and will get them this offseason.

We gameplanned for him NOT to throw in the 1st half. He had 1 bad possession, yes. But every other possession was runs and screens.

Amen. So happy someone realizes this.

Yep, it was obvious to the eye, or so I thought.

Everyone was so happy about the run run gameplan, and while we broke off some nice runs, that gameplan got us zero points through 2.5 quarters, until we changed it up, then immediately scored.
