Watchmen. It was all I could do to keep my eyes open. I was just praying it would hurry up and end.

My greatest movie disappointment goes to "Inception."

ETA: Nm, I'll go with #1 SW Episode 1. I waited 15+ years for that POS.

Y'all need to lower your expectations. I did not expect shite from any of the movies listed in here, so I was not disappointed.

I am with you on some of the TV shows such as HIMYM and Lost. They lured me in with promising beginnings then went to hell.

Well, some people didn't expect shite from HIMYM or Lost. Maybe you should lower YOUR expectations.

It's the point in which it seems Anderson has gone off the rails. It's a nothing movie, and a glaring missed oppurtunity.

Episode 1 (Phantom Menace) is the runaway winner here. Everyone who grew up with the original Star Wars movies was so, SO stoked, and when the first trailers hit, it was just an incredible rush. Now we can have the special effects to do it justice, we thought.
We all sat there, in a daze, ready to be wow'd. Took awhile to come to grips- it wasn't just disappointment, it was betrayal, blasphemy.

The Dark Knight Rises, Iron Man 3, and The Hobbit trilogy (3 movies, really?) were also major disappointments.

For TV, Lost takes the cake. I watched the first couple of seasons with my parents and my kid, and we all loved it. But it got increasingly hard to follow, and at some point we all gave up on it. Because, like it's been said, there were just so many things they built up, and then just ignored or dropped.

I thought Grimm and Sleepy Hollow started off good, but the wheels just came off both those shows.
