re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
JG had a 60% catch rate in his best season with Brees whose accuracy is a career 67% passer including SD. If you want to include NO only numbers, it's closer to 68%. Jimmy in his 16 TD year caught 60% of targets. Brees completed almost 69% on 650 attempts. Wilson is a career 63% completion p...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
What is he goes 65/788/12 or thereabouts? That Julius Thomas line from 2013, made him TE3. Wouldve put him in the top 20 in PPR point for WR.
Again, to show the pass TD vs. catch TD, Peyton threw 55 TDs that season. JT caught 12. 22%. Jimmy's average with the Saints (again excludi...
forgive me if im mistaken, didnt you argue with me for like 10 pages on how percy harvin was going to be a viable WR in SEA? funny you're now using the exact shite i was telling you about him. nice work
Possibly, maybe, I don't know. If true, should I bow to you now? This isn't s...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
I mean, Luck went +17 passing TDs from '13 to '14
This does happen. Not arguing against it. But Wilson threw 26,26 and then 20 last year. So now he throws for 37 in a balanced offense that - sure, could throw some more, but not enough to make up the difference?...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
Expecting 10 more passing TDs from your QB from last year --- combined with almost a 50% increase in TD percentage against historical production isn't troublesome? In a low volume passing attack? Just IMO. :dunno: ...
So would taking Bell at #4 with his 3 game suspension looming be worth it. 10 man league top 6 make playoffs 1 and 2 get byes. Itll be a slow start but if i can make the playoffs it would be worth it right?
If I had the #4 OA pick in a 10-team 1pt PPR with 6/10 playoffs and Bell was a...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
Maybe you and LE are right, it's all speculative at this point. Jimmy playing as a red zone focal point in a perennial top 5 offense averaged 11.5 TDs per season (I'm excluding rookie season to judge better). Since 2011 Brees has thrown for 46,43,39,33 (161) TDs. Jimmy scored 11,9,16,10 (46) ...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
 It's cool. My point is more of the risk/reward grabbing Gronk too early. Even if you eliminate the week 17 game last season, Gronk has played in 34 of his last 47 FF games - 72%. To have value at #4 OA he would need to play normal beast self for almost the whole season....

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
Gronk hasn't played a full 16 game schedule since 2011 season. You mean since last year? Only game he "missed" was a useless week 17 game that neither counted toward most fantasy leagues or the IRL league standings and it wasn't injury related
It matters in 2-game playoff leagues...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
And now the same mechanism that had him over drafted the past couple years will work the opposite way if you draft with saint fans
You keep saying this, but Jimmy outscored 2nd TE by 1.5ppg in 2013 (that is ppg not overall, so it covers Gronk's injury). Problem is Jimmy got hurt and...

re: Reaching for Gronk? TE drop off? - drizztiger
Gronk

Am I overlooking a stud fantasy TE?
Never underestimate Gronk's studliness. He is head and shoulders above any other TE this year - more than in year's past. Jimmy's numbers are likely to regress in SEA and Julius has fallen to JAX depths. He is probably 3+ppg...

re: Is it possible to use one computer to backup another (like an externall hd)? - drizztiger
Yes. You will need a crossover ethernet cable (or regular ethernet cable and crossover attachment) and attach the two PCs. You will need to go into the NIC (Network Interface Card) of each computer and set an IP address and subnet mask so they can communicate. You will then need either move f...

re: Snake vs auction draft - drizztiger
This is snake: Everyone knows it. It's comfortable. But you're in a linear box of thought. Draft position determines that box. It's the blue pill. This is auction: There is no box. It's uncomfortable. It's fluid; every auction is different. Your use of budget is completely up to you. You...

re: Snake vs auction draft - drizztiger
Exactly. You're not tied to a draft spot. Let's say you REALLY REALLY want K Gostkowski. In auction just bid higher for him compared to using an earlier pick on him or trading away OBJ for him....
