I have to confess: I wanna hug young Randall every time I see him.

Don't really care for this foster parent storyline

Great. Now Kate has a reason or be moody...

The dragging Jack's death out is feeling a bit "How I Met Your Mother"ish. Hope they give us the full story by the end of the season.
Think they must have realized the mistake. Unless you want this to be a 3 season show they had to put the brakes and stop trying to get the cry every week.
That said they will probably unload on us by the season end. Jacks death will be horrific. With either he had just redeemed himself or somebody said something to him that’s gut wrenching and he dies suddenly.
Kate, I think they set up very early with the pool scene as they were kids. She gets that letter that she is too fat and embarrassing, I believe it is from the girl Kevin marries. I assume there will be some high school level of mean prank or something like that. The two characters as adults do not speak. They’ve not addressed it but they do not speak. That and she will somehow have said something to her dad right before he dies or she will have asked him to do something that he dies trying to do. There is some reason she “has to be the one to tell him?”
The two episodes before the finale will be sob fests I believe. Then a season finale that ties up loose ends and moves you forward.
Sort of a Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad type thing where their next to last episodes were gut wrenching and the finale was just the end.

Yeah, they may go GoT and have the penultimate season episode be the one that clobbers you.

" Memphis " still is one of the saddest episodes of any show I've ever seen. Had big crocodile tears watching it.

It's been a little slow the past two episodes, though I do enjoy the looks back at the family growing up.

One of the best written episodes in a long time IMO

As if it wasn't bad enough that we have to hear Kate be moody and always talk about being fat, she's now pregnant.

Sooo Kate's gonna have a boy and name him Jack right? That's the only way that can go.

Young Randall and Adult Randall continue to be the best characters on the show.

Am I the only one who doesn't care for the foster child storyline? Seems forced
Randall is the best character though.

He's one of the best characters on television in a long time. His mannerism make it perfect

I don't recall if the 2 characters have never spoken but in the episode where Kevin returns to The Manny and is showing everyone around the set, Kate makes a comment that they like Kevin's girlfriend more than him, so I don't think they have any issues.

Finally caught up. What Sly said to Kev was beautiful, too bad it hit him the wrong way.
