That's a good one. Critically and commercially successful film, but no one ever looked at Beatty the same way again.

Well ... some might honestly think of him as "Rudy's Dad" first ... assuming they have not seen Deliverance.

Funny ... same thing happened to Ving Rhames (sp?) in Pulp Fiction.

Ned didn't get to get Medieval on his rapist though. Ving is in all the Mission Impossible flicks. He was also Diamond fricking Dog, bitch!

I love Ryan Reynolds, but dude's career was like a fricking rocket shooting for the moon before it got blown up in the stratosphere when he did Green Lantern.

He still has had success, but Green Lantern fricked his superstar status. Same with Peter Sarsgaard who was fast becoming someone like PSH to cast for understated, brooding roles. He is a fantastic actor.

That's how bad it was.

I don't care if I'm piling on. That's just a stupid thing to say, LBS is awesome.

Pretty sure that's incorrect all around.

Getting old ruined Meg Ryan. In the Cut was her last ditch effort at holding onto her stardom. That's why she got naked in it.

Being over 40 ended her career. Hollywood doesn't like to cast women over 40 in RomComs.

Ew.

But she was widely known as the most insufferable count in showbiz. People hated working with her.

Talk about an offscreen persona that didn't match up with the one we saw in the movies. I guess some bitches really are good actresses because Meg surely seemed like a sweety.

The thing about Ryan Reynolds is he looks like a movie star. And he's got some chops. Colin Farrell has had some stink bombs, but he just has an X factor. They talked about that on Entourage... Some guys can survive a stink box, because they just look like movie stars.

FWIW, I didn't think RIPD was near as bad as some make it out. I know it was a box office bomb, buts it's not an unfun movie to watch. Kevin Bacon and Mary Louise Parker were both pretty good in it.

Eric Bana, man. Would love to see him in something good again. Chopper was a master-class in acting, and Munich was just awesome.
