I submit Ford v. Ferrari. I popped it on this weekend (in a B2B with Rush, which is also much better than I imagined it would be but just is too serious and not nearly as fun as FvF) and was reminded just how enjoyable of an experience it is.

Kind of a meh subject and isn't exactly original in its presentation, but it's just nonstop moviegoing fun. Bale and Damon crush it. It's edited/paced incredibly well. Racing is a good medium to translate to film.

Just tons of bangers in terms of rewatchable scenes.

Ken Miles test drives the GT40 for the first time

Henry Ford II goes for a drive

7000 RPM go like hell

Psycho II

Making a sequel to Psycho 25 years later to capitalize on the 80s slasher craze sounds like a disaster. Yet the movie is an absolute banger and worthy sequel. Perkins gives an even better performance as Norman Bates and perfects the character.

Who would’ve thought the legal drawn out battle over the creation of Facebook would be a top 3 movie from the 2010’s

Gold with Matthew McConaughey. One of his more underrated films.

The 24 Hour War.

I too, give two shits about car racing, but really enjoyed this.

Twister. You could listen to it as an audio book and it would still be entertaining.

If I told you a guy drives his car on the interstate for 90 minutes and makes 25-30 phone calls, and we literally don’t see anyone else, you’d tell me that is the most unwatchable film of all time

I find both of Jason Statham's Crank movies to be solidly entertaining and rewatchable.

Agreed. Cage is probably in more movies that fit this topic than any other actor.

The original is worth checking out too if you’ve never seen it. Obviously not a big budget Hollywood production, but it’s
fantastic for what it is.

deep pull. and a solid choice - really a great movie.

my submission for this category is Young Guns II. the first Young Guns was solid, and is a complete movie beginning to end that did NOT need a sequel. however, the studio said "hold my beer" and took a solid R-rated western, made it PG-13, added the teen hearthrob-of-the-moment Christian Slater, and a Bon Jovi soundtrack, and somehow turned it into a fricking solid follow up. even the Brushy Bill Roberts stuff works.

I admit, there was nothing, absolutely nothing about Ford vs Ferrari that pulled me in from any of the clips or trailers I saw. But one day it was on TV and I sat and watched it. What a great great movie. They did Ken Miles dirty. I wanted to reach through and knock the Home Depot guy out.
