Steve Irwin is an obvious choice for so many of us.

One that crushed me though was Chris Benoit. He was my favorite wrestler throughout the good ole Monday night wars and it was so awesome to see him finally reach the top. But it wasn't his death that hurt, it was the fact he murdered his wife and his son. That broke my heart.

Jimmy Stewart.

It wasn't unexpected due to his age, but sadness due to the "end of an era" feeling it gave me.

It's Robin Williams for me, too. No question.

When Harold Ramis died, I remember talking with my husband about how the world was a little less funnier that day. I told him that when Bill Murray and Robin Williams died, I'd probably be a wreck. I had no idea.

The John Keating character in DPS played a huge part in my becoming a teacher. The day after Williams died, right before my first class of the day was over, I crossed to an empty student desk and told my kids there was something I had to do. I climbed on the desk and said, "O Captain! My Captain!" One by one, my students stood on their desks, too. One young lady who is on the yearbook staff captured the moment. That picture is framed and sits on my desk. I'm so glad that it was a the end of class because as soon as they left, I lost it.

I was kind of bummed when Frank Sinatra died. He had a hell of a life and I was just sorry to see such an icon go. Also kind of disappointed that I never got to see him live.

Not sure if radio personality counts but I was heartbroken when Kidd Kraddick passed.

Me too. It's just not the same anymore, so sad...

Kidd was good at getting the crew riled up from time to time. Especially Kellie. Now it is just a non stop love fest and not nearly as interesting.

Kidd Kraddick was such a shock. I still remember getting that news and not believing it. I just knew it had to be some kind of prank.

Anna Nicole Smith. I felt bad knowing she just had that little girl and having lost her son just a year before.
