For me it was John Ritter. That came out of nowhere and he was such a likeable guy.

Chris Farley and Jon Candy upset my teenage self.

I think I was most shocked by Phil Hrtman and Robin Williams.

if we can include athletes, Walter Payton.

which was odd because I didn't really grow up when he was a true star, but I always loved his highlights and it was a tough story to watch unfold

Don Knotts. He was like the grandfather I never had.

Easily Heath Ledger for me. I can't think of another one that comes close.

That was Martin Luther King Day, too.

Robin Williams was pretty bad for me - I had a lot invested with him - television, standup, film, voice work - he was a great entertainer.

But, probably the worst was Phil Hartman - he was my favorite actor, at the time, on my favorite "currently airing" television show, at the time. Bitches be cray, indeed, Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.

It wasn't so much his death, it was that interview, when he admitted, "You want me to say I'm scared? Okay, I'm scared, alright?"

THAT got me worse than actually losing him.
