Sacramento Kings. Longest drought in NBA history and no chance of changing. (last title was 1951 as the Rochester Kings)

Has to be the Nets or Kings. Basketball takes the longest to turn around.

Niners. I actually hate my favorite team. Even when the Warriors won 25 games every season, I still found a way to love them.

Now, every time they get torched, I see Jed Yorks face in my minds eye. It's depressing.

I guess the Kings are probably the only ones close to Brooklyn. Sacramento could still have two top ten picks this year though based on their protections from what I remember. Their front office in its current state also seems much more incompetent than Brooklyn

Run TMC was a beautiful time to grow up in the Bay Area.

Saints. Once Brees is gone you can flush it down.

Ownership is dying and FO is pathetic.

This.

Distant 2nd--Maybe Tampa Bay Rays. They've got the most horrible facility in pro sports, no chance of any public funds to build a new one after the way the Marlins burned Miami, completely disinterested fanbase. The team caught lightning in a bottle 10 years ago and peaked with Joe Maddon, Carl Crawford, Longoria, etc. No reason to believe that's happening again.

Basketball is the one sport where 1 draft pick can take you out of the gutter.

For that very reason I believe that the Nets are the answer bc they don't have the draft picks to compete

The New York Islanders. They play in an arena which is brand new, yet totally unfriendly to hockey. So they already need a new arena, yet they have poisoned the well on Long Island and likely can't move back. Their best player, who is admittedly awesome, is nearing in on unrestricted free agency after next year, and will likely bolt. but they are also up against the cap and can't really improve their team in the meantime.

They are going to miss the playoffs this year barring a miracle, will likely miss next year, and then their star bolts and their window of competitiveness closes and rests.

Oh, and they are going bankrupt and can't afford that new arena either. The Isles may not exist in five years. There's an empty arena in Quebec that would love to host them. Everything is going badly for the Isles, which sucks. I kinda like them.

Cavs will be bottom feeders in 5 years when Lebron retires.

Browns outlook is better than now - hard to beat 1-15

Football easily takes longer than basketball.

You can get 2 great players in basketball and start selling out arenas, even if you go .500 and attract other star players.

LA Rams

Still owned by Kroenke and run by his dumbass jester, Demhoff.

Their defense is already beginning to bolt for Free agency, and they have NOTHING on offense, but a RB.

A Mediocre QB for the future, no OL, no WR's. lol
