re: Offseason: Should Auburn do more to honor Mike Donahue? - Ross
we could start by claiming the national title he won in 1913. Every other school in the nation would have acknowledged that year as a pre-poll era championship season, we should follow suit....

re: VICE: confirmed purveyor of Fake News - Ross
VICE started out as something awesome. I loved the idea of reporters willing to go places other people weren't willing to go to show reality. But more recently it's been SJW nonsense. Sad....

re: Remember when AU swept Florida - Ross
We would have hosted the super regional against Sam Houston State and been to Omaha. Had a chance to win a game with either KT or Mize too....

Godfather Part III - Ross
I've never seen the third Godfather, but I have seen the first two. I've always heard it's a pretty bad movie, but people tend to exaggerate and I'm thinking about watching it tonight. Is it really as bad as I've heard or is it just because it stands next to two giants from the first two movies?...

re: Ranking All 130 College Football Head Coaches for 2017 (Athlon Sports) - Ross
22. Gus Malzahn, Auburn
I have never seen a coach live with such a good reputation from a great initial season and three seasons of pure mediocrity afterwards. This dude should be on the hot seat this season and 8-5 should get him fired....

re: Are there certain teams that should never contend for CFP or Natty? - Ross
The committee needs to go to the wayside. The BCS-era computers generally put the teams in the proper ranking order at the end of the year IMO.. with the expansion to 4 teams, by all means, let anyone in the top 4 compete for the championship.
that's what everyone wanted I would...

South Carolina got good enough under Spurrier to where I would put them in the "maybe one day with one freak athlete..." category...
If this gets an 85%+, Sony should just surrender as a studio. Just say "hey we fricked up by getting into film, we'll just stick with electronics at this point.".
they charge too much for a lot of their electronics, maybe just stick to PlayStation...

re: Did you actually attend an SEC University? - Ross
I'm Mechanical Engineering and started out a little less than that. How many years into your field are you? It may be different for software, but a few years in you should think about getting an MBA in night school and then go the management track. That's where the real money is at....

re: 1983 Auburn Tigers: The biggest hosing in modern CFB history - Ross
Because their resume is inferior to Auburn's and it's not just those two teams in consideration, head to head isn't the deciding factor....

re: 1983 Auburn Tigers: The biggest hosing in modern CFB history - Ross
Auburn had a better resume than Miami though, by a lot. Does one game negate an entire seasons worth of a resume?...

re: 1983 Auburn Tigers: The biggest hosing in modern CFB history - Ross
It took fifteen minutes to Google the final rankings and the results of each game for all of those teams is on Wikipedia pages made for those teams. And if reading is too difficult that's why there is a cliffnotes bit at the top
All Osborne had to do was kick the extra point agai...

22 downvotes on a post with actual football discussion I'd say this board has gone down hill, but let's be honest. It's sucked for a long time....
Also, nobody respected Pat Dye for the way he handled the Greg Pratt situation with the fake fraternity brother shirts to try to incite emotion in the Auburn faithful against opposing fans by having an Auburn fraternity pretend to disrespect Pratt. It was a thing.
uh huh, I'm sur...
On the final game of the season. Miami beat the #1 ranked team and Auburn beat the #8 ranked team.
I didn't know they played that many preseason games before the one meaningful game back in 1983....
