You know how much the internet and being able to see videos of 1000's of players at your fingertips has benefited the game

Free agency if used correctly can fix the errors made in drafting and development
You cannot find a team in baseball who has perfected the art of developing players.
The big market teams in baseball are trying to right now. The Red Sox were the first to do so but have had mixed results and have had to go outside of the organization for players more times than they have wanted. Look at the Cubs. None of their starters came from their system. Hendricks the closest but was developed mainly by Texas

Neither of them are leaving any time soon. People can say Boogie will leave after next season, but I highly doubt it. He already lost a shitload of money, he will not won't to lose more. AD is here for a while.

They lucked into having two superstars. They have been damn solid lately, after finally starting to gel. They will be a playoff team next year, I am very confident in that.

The rest of their roster is pure garbage and they have zero cap flexibility.

Dont the Browns have like 11 picks in the draft? IF they do ot roght and can address needs, they will be a young team but may beable to be competitive within the next five years.

Absolutely incorrect. One really good player or a couple of good players can make a huge difference. I give you Cleveland.

2009-10 season 61-21
Lebrun departs
2010-11 season 19-63
2013-14 season 33-49
Lebrun returns
2015-2016 season 53-29

This. Most people on this board don't watch MLS, so they probably don't know that Minnesota is on pace to easily have the worst MLS season of all time.

No, it's correct. You picked the one outlier. It took the Thunder 5 years to get to the finals after drafting KD. And they drafted two other hall of famers in that time.

yeah they drafted them. no one said you're going to turn around a franchise with one or two rookies in a year. but you can 100% completely turn around a franchise with one star player picked up in FA. it happens all the time. I don't know why people are even trying to argue this point

How many superstars have signed with bad teams in the last 10 years and turned them around? Lebron with Cleveland and I guess Boston with their Big 3 was ten years ago. Boston also had young tradeable assets to make that happen.

Do you think the Nets will be able to sign someone like Hayward or Paul George in the next couple years?

You're talking out of your arse. Give me a few examples in the last 10 years if it happens all the time.

Lebron to CLE is all I got, and that's a pretty special circumstance, not the norm.

Superstar free agents aren't going to meddling, mediocre franchise "all the time"

Shaq and maybe Nash are the only other ones I can think of in my lifetime.

I honestly think that's the list. It's extremely rare.

Lebron to Cleveland (33 wins to the NBA finals)
Garnett to Boston (24 wins to 66 wins)
Carmello to Denver (17 wins to 43 wins)
James Harden to Houston (missed the playoffs, improved by 19 games in 2 seasons)
Chris Paul to the Clippers (13th place in the west to 5th)
Isaiah Thomas to Boston (25 wins to 48 in his first full season)
Kyle Lowry (23 wins to 48 two seasons later)
Steve Nash to Phoenix (29 wins to 62 wins)

And on the same hand, losing one player can and has sunk franchises too.

Let's review your latest post:

Not as a free agent, drafted

Garnett to Boston (24 wins to 66 wins)

Not as a free agent, traded

He wasn't a superstar acquisition, also Not as a free agent, traded

Most of those teams did nothing. What's the NBA equivalent of the Seahawks going 5-11 and then winning the super bowl 4 years later? What seems more reasonable, one of these shite NFL teams building through the draft or Lebron signing with the Kings?

I'll throw in the LA Angels. Worst farm system in baseball right now. Will Trout stick around? They will just be getting past Pujols' contract in five years.
