I default to the Cleveland Browns

Browns have three 1st rounders in the next two drafts, 5 2nd rounders, and 13 picks in the remaining rounds.

I know the rebuttal will be that they can't draft anyway, but law of averages says they'll eventually hit on picks especially with so many, and the new GM has made savvy moves so far- I would feel good about him if I was a Browns fan.

I actually think future is bright for the Browns, and I don't think I've ever felt that before

Teams flip from losing record to playoffs pretty frequently in football

Teams rarely go from 25-30 wins to 50 wins in the NBA. Even if you hit on a star in the high lottery it can take several years to actually be relevant (see: the Minnesota Timberwolves). And the Nets don't have their own high lotto pick for the next two years. Hitting on a star in the mid to late first round is so tough

As said before- Nets are beyond fricked.

They're already the worst team in the league. They don't have a single young player to build around or get excited about with the future. And they don't own their top pick the next two years (definitely not this year, 90% sure they don't have their 2018 first rounder either)

It's hard to be in a worse spot than worst team, with no exciting talent, and no picks

Billy MOTHERfrickING King

I've hated damn near everything they've done since the Brooklyn move. I liked the young talent they had before they went full retard and tried to build a super team of geriatrics. Now we're fricked for the next century.

It's unbelievable how fricked the Nets are when you think about it.

The way they designed Barclays like that was so stupid.

I'm gonna go with the Pels, bc 35 wins is just as bad as 15, and I have no confidence in the moves they will make until AD and Boogie both leave for bigger markets.

Add to that NOLA is not the best free agent destination and the coach is a bum

The Angles will pay Albert Pujols $30 million on 2021 when he is 41, that's not a good outlook

I honestly feel bad for you Nets fans. Even at the time, it never made sense to mortgage your future for some over the hill former stars who would maybe get you out of round one in the east as a ceiling

Hornets

Professional basketball does not work in North Carolina
Team moved once. For whatever reason besides the Hornets in the early 90's they have never found postseason success. Why would the next five years be different

Those football teams that flip that quickly are usually a result of multiple years of good drafting or FA pickups, they aren't started from scratch

I'm not saying it happens overnight in the NFL but it's much quicker than the NBA

Draftees make a significant impact much quicker in the NFL than the NBA

San Francisco 49ers,

the Eagles got out in time (maybe)

chip jelly is gonna frick them for another year or so, it will take at least 4 to rebuild anything resembling an NFL roster

Cleveland Browns

Definitely not. They have a shitload of draft capital and a large number of young players. Despite all the shite they get, their current FO + coaching staff kinda seems like they at least have a decent plan and ownership is going to let them execute. I anticipate they'll be a 6-8 win team in 3-4 years.

IMO its the 49ers. Their roster is barren, they have a GM who has no idea what he's doing and a head coach who is in way over his head with the situation, not to mention the worst owner in the sport.

Brooklyn Nets and I do not think it's close

Is Billy King the worst NBA GM in recent history? He made a number of horrid trades, but the most notable one fricked Brooklyn for a long, long time. He also traded the pick to Portland that they used to select Damian Lillard. Maybe David Khan? Other nominees?

And they're gonna have to pay Trout at some point. They're gonna be bad for a good while.

I wonder how much of that was King and how much was the ownership. It wouldn't surprise me if he was told to go balls to the wall. It was still an atrocious deal but I don't know if he deserves all the blame

Maybe information gets to you later than others

But Chip Kelly is no longer with the 49ers
John Lynch is their new GM and they hired the Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan as their new coach
