It sounds like you say this in hopes that they are not because of actual facts

Actually the Angels in this upcoming offseason will
be buyers on the FA market because they will have over 30 million coming off their books.

30 million is what, 2 1/2 players??? Angels need about 5-6 players.

And they're gonna have to pay Trout at some point
they won't have to pay trout for another four seasons. A lot can happen in four seasons

Isles aren't leaving NY as long at Bettman is comish but yeah it's not fun being a fan of that franchise.

Also this:

and can't afford that new arena

Isn't accurate, Barclays pays the team.

Going bankrupt

Also not true as the owner is a billionaire and the aforementioned deal they have with Barclays keeps them in the black but they aren't making much, especially for a NYC team.

I'm keeping in open mind on Shanny/Lynch for now but Niners also have to be in this discussion.

I actually like their pitching staff

The main reason they had a terrible year was because three of their pitchers had season ending injuries

If Richards rebounds and Shoemaker continues to have success you have two frontline starters

I think the only position that they are weak at is catcher but how many teams have catchers that are above replacement
At 1st, 2nd and 3rd they are around replacement levels
RF and SS they are strong

This leaves LF and DH
Maybin and Revere
Pujols

Most AL teams would take that production in LF and DH

That depends on their back end of the rotation
I thought they should have brought back Weaver for the 5th spot
Nolasco was decent in his two months as an Angel

Their problem might be the gas cans coming out of their bullpen if Andrew Bailey does not have a good year and Huston Street does not return to form

I like Bedrosian. This spring from the numbers he has been throwing the ball very well

They have a bottom 5 farm system, unless they pull a huge haul of players, they'll be mediocre for a good while.

Don't always believe those rankings from baseball America and ESPN on minor leaguers

I reside here in Western North Carolina and attempt to see as much minor league baseball as I can and with my own eyes I have seen players come through here that were either underrated or overrated by these publications

This is A ball. This is the level in which a player makes himself because the jump from A to AA is the second highest in the game only behind AAA to the majors

'm gonna go with the Pels, bc 35 wins is just as bad as 15, and I have no confidence in the moves they will make until AD and Boogie both leave for bigger markets.

Neither of them are leaving any time soon. People can say Boogie will leave after next season, but I highly doubt it. He already lost a shitload of money, he will not won't to lose more. AD is here for a while.

They lucked into having two superstars. They have been damn solid lately, after finally starting to gel. They will be a playoff team next year, I am very confident in that.
