Get any $, you go to the new NFL G league. Or into a football farm league system like baseball.
But stop this amateur sports bullshite.
Just close the NCAA and all 3 major college sports.

This is so untrue, the purpose for these college athletes being allowed to play is to get an education {student athletes}.

Transfering from school to school with credits not transfering is not the path to getting educated.

Only 1.6 our of every 100 football players actually play in the NFL, a very small percentage while the remaining 98.4 need to find jobs.

Playing college football should be an avenue to get educated and elevate future earning power.

Yes NIL and the transfer portal will hinder the education of the future players.

Can players in the NFL just transfer teams...no...with NIL now these colleges players are professionals now no matter how they want to spin it and they should be treated as such...

College football got too big for itself. It was always going to change and it's gonna change a lot more.

You consider LSU women’s Basketball Championship tainted or Baseball Championship tainted? Neither of those happen without transfers. Or are we just talking about football since LSU has been unable to capitalize to the extent that other schools have?

I have zero issues with the theoretical approach to NIL but it needs to be better implemented.

If we were a rich school, you would love NIL

1)NIL needs a rookie cap type deal where players should be paid a limit when signed out of high school until they prove their worth after one year in college. Players that transfer with no stats are paid the rookie minimium similar to ones signed out of high school. Players with starting experience in college NIL deal based on performance.

You can’t cap NIL because you can’t limit how much a person can make on their own name image and likeness, I don’t get why people keep suggesting a cap.

Now I think collectives should go away because they violate the spirit of what NIL was supposed to be .

But the college football you loved is long gone and isn’t coming back. Either accept that or move on, I suspect many will move on

I have much less issue with the portal and NIL than I do conference realignment.

But all of those things are giving me new reasons every day to be a little more checked out on college football.

I just think the fan experience should take much more priority over players' rights in college football.

Jesus Christ are you shitting me? The whole reason there is a good “fan experience” is because of the players. But you would rather we not cater towards the actual people putting the product on the field to create your experience?
