it’s a 1 year commitment for the player and the school. it goes both ways

I have hope that the wild wild west of NIL will eventually plateau overtime, we’re just feeling the side effects head on since it’s so new.

Or this could be a completely sunshine pumper comment and CFB will combust itself into a minor league of the pros.

I love LSU and CFB too much to stop watching, so if I head into a house on fire while blatantly watching, so be it.

Transfer portal got us Burrow and Daniel’s. Quit bitching
Well one got LSU a championship and the other one didn’t. They are not the same.

No it’s not.

Why shouldn’t they be able to play sports at their new destination?

BECAUSE IT'S MAKING THE SPORT SHITTY. It sucks seeing your guy suit up for your rival. It's about the sport, not the players.

It's the only thing that makes college football different from the soulless pro garbage. Give the players complete autonomy to be mercenaries and the product doesn't offer anything unique. It's just a shittier NFL.

And neither are fans. Many a team has been improved by transfers, thus increasing fan enjoyment. It goes both ways.

Cry me a river. Or don’t watch anymore. You think just because an 18 year old went to your school for one year that he’s now “your player”?

So is LSU’s 2019 title tainted because of Burrow transferring? Is Daniel’s heisman tainted?

They were both were graduate transfers, so they fulfilled their commitment to their previous schools!

Not arguing for no transfers. But I do want a bench year if you transfer in conference.

Any college student can transfer schools. Why should an athlete be treated differently?
apples to oranges. those student athletes could always transfer just like any student. but there are many more factors involving the student side. I don't really care, but I do hate to see stupid arguments made. comparing student athletes to non athletes is painfully stupid.

Dude, we're not going to agree on this. I just think the fan experience should take much more priority over players' rights in college football. Do whatever you want in the pros. But NIL and unlimited transfers makes the sport worse for the fans. I don't care if it makes it better for the players.

Hahahaha. Just a hilarious thing to say. Also, you know there are a lot of fans that don’t mind the transfer portal and think it makes college football better right?

Enlighten me how a student athlete is so different from a non athlete that they should face a barrier to transferring schools.

I know. That’s why I’m laughing at you. You think your opinion is more important than the players or even possibly the majority of college football fans.

I’m still waiting on 3 legitimate examples of how the transfer portal is making college football a shitty sport.

And here is the root of all cultural problems of college athletics.

Y’all do realize that scholarships are year to year and a coach can pull scholarships from players right?

Right... coaches have been processing kids for decades. Its still happening now. It always been a numbers game. Now the players have some power to move around and people are complaining.

No need to be such a butt hurt little bitch about it. We just disagree on where the priorities of the sport should lie.
