So, you judge a team's place in the NFL by what they do against New Orleans?

There isn't anything to judge, Atlanta lost twice to the Saints last year. The Saints were clearly the better team, nothing much has changed since then, so it's not a stretch to say the Saints are clearly the better team, especially when the only difference between 7-9 and 8-8 is an overtime fluke game against the Titans.

Was Carolina better than New Orleans in 2012?

You would take Willie Snead over Sammy Watkins.

Say what you want about JJ, but the Cowboys have been drafting very well since 2010. Dez Bryant, Sean Lee, Demarco Murray, Tyron Smith, Tyrone Crawford, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, Anthony Hitchens, and the early returns look promising on Byron Jones and La'el Collins (UDFA, I know).

This after 15 years of draft ineptitude

I would never take a healthy Watkins over Snead

ETA: I just noticed the bad sentence structure. I obviously meant I would take a healthy Watkins over Snead. Oh well, I'm not a bitch so I wont delete my posts like strongbackweakmind

What's funny? Watkins was hurt. Why would I take a hurt Watkins over a healthy Snead. That is stupid.

Yeah, except someone in the thread asked who you would take straight up, and you said...
quote:

Bumping this to see who would take Sammy Watkins over Willie Snead right now.

I won't use Sammy's stats from this year because that would be unfair, but last year Sammy had 982 yards, 15.1ypc, 6TDs, 128tgts, 65receptions through 16 games. This year Willie Snead has 531 yards, 15.2ypc, 3TDs, 53tgts, 35receptions through 8 games.

The choice is obvious......
Posters continued to ridicule you (rightfully so), and you responded with:
quote:

You are really overrating Sammy
Posters then, again, asked who you would take straight up, and you suddenly disappeared.

How about instead of cherry picking you actually quote everything

BillJ- "do you mean right now because sammy is injured or because you believe snead is the better player?"

Me- "Because Sammy is injured and doing erratic things. If Sammy was healthy it would depend on the asking price."

Not once did I say Snead was better than Sammy. I'm also not going to overvalue a wide receiver when I can get the same production from an average to above average wide receiver as a result of an elite QB. Colston was a reliable receiver, why would I pay top dollar for megatron.

How about posting the posts that happened later in the thread? Oh, I already did.

It's obvious that you were hinting that you would choose Willie Snead over Sammy Watkins at the end of the thread.
