re: Baylor has fired Art Briles - Roger Klarvin
That's ground zero for the kind of people who group think themselves into a massive delusional persecution complex. A shite load of them have essentially been taught their religion is under attack and to distrust the media and govt from birth so it's no surprise that when their football team g...

re: Any Anti-Trumpkins Here Pledging to Leave the Country When Trump Wins? - Roger Klarvin
I've endured 16 years of varying degrees of subpar presidenting and still have a pretty good life, I'm sure I'll be fine for another four with Hillary or Trump. My issue is more related to the indictment of our society these two candidates are....

re: White Idaho football players accused of raping mentally disabled black teammate - Roger Klarvin
The lawsuit describes one teammate pretending to offer the victim a hug, then holding him down as another boy inserted a coat hanger into his rectum. A third attacker then kicked the coat hanger several times, forcing it farther into the victim's body and causing rectal injuries that required...

re: Is this the most "experienced" and deepest team since A&M joined the SEC?. - Roger Klarvin
Probably but it's offset by a VERY iffy QB and OL, two of the three most important aspects of a team along with DL. I'd rather have stacked lines and a good QB with youth everywhere else....
It's about how they'd look killing off religious folks.
They're not "religious folks", they're violent theocrats killing, imprisoning and mutilating people in the name of their beliefs. I mean for gods sake they walk around with spiked clubs to intimidate....

re: Game of Thrones S6:E6 "Blood of My Blood" (reader thread) (NO LEAKS!) - Roger Klarvin
The High Sparrow/Faith Militant story is played out and needs to end. It is entirely unrealistic that in that society a few hundred untrained radicals with clubs and knives have at their mercy two of the most powerful houses in the world and their armies, the King and Queen, the Kingsguard and the g...
You don't see the MOUNTAINOUS hypocrisy of America's Chief Moralist, Kenn Starr of the Starr report, turning around and being the "ace" (per Alan Dershowitz) attorney in getting Epstein such a lenient plea-bargain deal for way, way, way worse stuff than he grilled Clinton for?
It...

re: Who is the one athlete you wish you were alive to see? - Roger Klarvin
I wish I was old enough to remember the NBA in the 80s. I never saw Showtime or Dr. J or Bird or Jordan when he was dropping 40 every game. My earliest memories are from around 1993. I would say the number one athlete I regret not getting to watch though would be Roger Staubach. The reverence wit...

re: Ongoing Baylor controversy/discussion thread - Roger Klarvin
You seem totally blind as what kind of person Ken Starr is. He's a despicable human being. He was a defense attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire who was convicted of raping high school girls and keeping them locked away on a private island. In that trial. He defended him for that. Go...

re: Mississippi Corruption: The Principal Who Cheated - Roger Klarvin
I have a very low opinion of grade school teachers in general, but it's hard getting through the cultural barriers to learning in mostly black public schools. Being smart and studious is "uncool" and "white". Especially since many who become teachers are the most ill-equipped to actually teach....

re: Definitive proof Obama is NOT muslim - Roger Klarvin
And BHO's religion is black liberation theology - a weird merger of Christianity and Marxism, eerily similar to the core beliefs of Jim Jones' People's Temple
Everything I've seen from him leads me to believe any religious or spiritual overtones in his life are purely pandering.
