Discussion: How bad was it looking back at it?

The Rams taking Tavon Austin over DeAndre Hopkins is pretty bad. Dion Jordan at #2 is horrible. A lot of misses in that first round.

Jimbo gets his dudes paid.

quote:

Manuel signed a four-year deal worth $8.9 million, a day after the Bills closed a three-day mandatory minicamp -- their final session before training camp opens on July 28 in suburban Rochester. A person familiar with the deal released the terms of the contract, and spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills did not disclose the figures. The person said the deal includes a $4.84 million signing bonus. Though there is an option to add a fifth year to the contract, the person said it is considered a four-year deal.

The Escobar pick in Round 2 is looking like a smart pick also.

Stevie Boy's first draft looks good now.

Ehhhhh idk about that. I won't be shocked if he's cut for Rico Gathers this off-season, especially since we just signed Hanna to an extension.

Yes he may be cut, but he has played and played significant plays, which makes it a good pick. He was never going to be the starter.

Armstead would be up there. Especially considering some of the teams at the top needed a left tackle.

Actually, I think Ansah might be #1. He's average 10 sacks per year over his 3 years (8, 7.5, and then 14.5). Although Hopkins would be #2 at worst.

Eifert, I don't know. So many teams seem confused on how to spotlight a TE.

Le'Veon Bell and Lacy would be up there too with Richardson and Ogletree.

I was disappointed that we took Hayden, I wanted Sharrif FLoyd. The dude almost died the previous year, I have no idea why we took him so high. Anyways, that first round is atrocious.
