Vitali Klitschko beats both of them....and he brutalizes Tyson.

Wlad beats both as well but I'd give them a better shot. Wlad can't take a punch but the Emanuel Steward version of Wlad has learned to avoid punches and use his height, jab and straight right effectively.

Mike would kill Wlad. Wlad wouldn't be able to handle the intensity and would gas quick.

Vitali would kill Tyson though, Vitali has one of the greatest chins ever he would weather the storm and beat the crap out of Mike in the 2nd half of the fight.

I think both the Klitschko's beat Ali. Ali didn't block jabs.

No way could Larry Homes have ever beaten Klitchko.

He would never be able to get inside, so his jab would have been useless. Holmes was very vulnerable to straight right crosses. Klitchko would nail him consitently.

And Holmes did duck Coetzee.

Marciano struggled with over the hill light-heavyweights.

He only weighed 184 pounds. There is no way he would even come close to being competitive against a modern heavyweight.

He might be competitive today as a cruiserweight.

What? You don't have to be entertaining to be the greatest. However he isn't the greatest heavyweight. He lost to Corey sanders.

Disagree. His reach and fighter iq is too much for a prime Tyson IMO.

Don't know about the greatest, but definitely in top 5. His reach and left jab are incredible. Vladimir would take Louis, Marciano, Frazier, etc. I believe Ali & Tyson would have given him a good fight.

Possibly. That's how Buster Douglas did it.

Those that say boxing is dead or dying don't know WTF they are talking about. Just look no further than the PPV numbers.

Vlad is steadily climbing up the ladder to top five but he not the greatest by a long shot. Tyson couldn't have gotten past that jab enough to have hurt Vlad now that he's learned how to use it.

Ali would have outsmarted him and Frazier would have simply willed himself to a win against him. Vlad and a prime Larry Holmes would have been an entertaining fight.

None of these commies are the greatest ever. You all really need to see the trash that they have fought. A bunch of fat arse out of shape fighters. People seem to forget how fast and explosive Tyson was in his prime. He would duck under one of those slow arse jabs and throw two punches before these robots knew what hit them.

Slight hijack: I just realized Roy Jones Jr fought a few months ago..why is he still fighting? He can't possibly need money.

Also Lennox>>>Klitchkos

This is why the answer is no. No GOAT ever had a glass chin either.

They said that in the 80's, 90's,etc... this is one of those comments that will be handed down for generations.

Tyson fought a lot of trash in the 80s. 39 year old Larry Holmes who came out of retirement and blown up Michael Spinks who was 20lbs past his best days don't count as high quality victories.

The words "slow" and "robot" do not describe the Klitschko's. Their jabs and straight right hands are as sharp as it gets. Why do you think fast-handed fighters like Eddie Chambers and David Haye got their arses kicked so easily by them?

Apparently he is VERY popular in Russia and is making decent money padding his record vs. garbage.

Yep.

George was too young and stupid his first go around...but if I had to pick one Heavyweight on his best day to beat anyone and save my life - I would pick George.

That M'Fer could knock out a Volkswagen.

He beat the piss out of Frazier and beat the shite out of Ali for 6 rounds.

Ali, was just a world-class chin and prankster.

Then he comes back as an old fricking man and knocks out the young heavyweight champ.

Who the frick does that in any sport?

There is no sport equivalent for that.

That would be like Kareem going back to the NBA tomorrow and winning Finals MVP leading his Clippers to the NBA Title.

Gerry Coetzee had 3 shots at a title and lost 2 of them vs inferior boxers.

Holmes didn't duck him, IMO

Holmes left jab would have never let Klitchko's right go, especially the prime Holmes not the clown Holmes of Casino Magic.

You assume but the competition now is nothing compared to the past . When Tyson got inside he destroyed guys. He would knock wladimir into next week with his jaw.
