Has anyone argued otherwise? He is talented enough to switch hit, and he does so because it usually is an advantage to face LHPs as a right handed batter. This advantage has caused him to put up better numbers that he otherwise would have as a strictly left handed hitter. That is not really debatable.

The question is whether those numbers are good enough for the HOF. During that debate, the fact that he is a switch hitter should be irrelevant.
