Hes been a flat out monster since the All Star break. Leading the NBA in 4th Q scoring since March 1st. The Bulls missing Taj Gibson actually was probably a blessing in disguise because Mirotic is quickly becoming a matchup nightmare for most teams.

Also making a late charge to challenge Andrew Wiggins for ROY.

EDIT: Just realized the Bulls got Mirotic and Jimmy Butler in the same draft

He should win rookie of the year.

The Bulls need to keep playing him.

i remember one game where i needed an absurd amount in a short time in order for the game to go over.

and Mirotic came through.

it was incredible.

Very good, but he's still a bit awkward. He's got an old man's game at 24. I'm trying to think of a comparison and drawing a blank.

Been great this past month or so.

IMO, he could be 1 of the best stretch 4s in the NBA for the next 6years or so, he is already 24.

But he's going to excellent.

He's definitely good, can shoot the outside shot and drive to the basket. Nice skills for a guy his size. He must have shot terribly at the beginning of the season, because he seems to be shooting pretty good lately and is still barely shooting 40%.

He's shooting 15 times (41.8%) per game in March. Is inefficiency like that to be celebrated now? A lot of NBA guys can get buckets at shitty percentages if they have to shoot that much. Bulls are 5-6 during his "hot streak"

I've been big on him since I knew they were bringing him over. He's not going to win ROY because he doesnt get the touches, but he is the best rookie in this class. When you're an MVP in any pro league, you're a badass.

I think he has a really bright future in the NBA, and the Bulls would be smart to build around Butler and Mirotic.

His shot selection is poor and he plays out of control but he is fun to watch. A lot of energy

Wiggins is playing well, but Parker's knee injury made this a 1 man race. Mirotic coming on hot this past month won't change it.

Unfortunate because he's been solid outside of 3pt shooting.

What do you mean by best rookie in this class? Lots of people have different definitions so just wanna know which one you're using

Fwiw, I think wiggins is the best by pretty much any definition of the word, just curious

he's not better then Wiggins. Wiggins has been better all season and he is 4 years younger

Jabari Parker would be 2nd.

then Mirotic in that next group

he's 6'10" and he shoots 30% on any FG 3' and out from the rim

his shot chart is borderline laughable

What?

Nerlens and Elfrid Payton have been better then Mirotic, especially in March. Wiggins has been the best rookie of the bunch. Mirotic has 4 years on wiggins and noel and 3 on Payton.

Mirotic has been fun too watch, but inefficient volume scoring isn't impressive

Yeah Grantland laid out a pretty good case for Noel as ROY. It will be Wiggins though.
