re: Should fournette return kick offs - TheWalrus
No, but I read somewhere on here that part of the deal when he chose LSU was that he would get to return kickoffs....

re: Yahoo Fantasy Football: Bidding for free agents? - TheWalrus
I absolutely love bidding for free agents. We have a $100 budget for the whole season. It adds strategy to the game and gives everyone a chance to get their guy. The most I've ever bid for a guy was like $24. Usually everyone has a lot of their budget left over, so be aggressive for really good free...

re: 1st game Harris starts - question - TheWalrus
That's one thing lots of us have criticized about Miles, is that he plays it so conservatively against outmatched opponents when it would be a great opportunity to open things up and work out kinks. I think he throws for about 170 vs Mcneese and a TD. 4 or 5 rushing TDs by running backs....

re: 2011 is a lot different than this year, boys. - TheWalrus
I don't think he means go 0-6 in the west, just that each game on its own is a possible loss. I don't think that's even debatable considering Miss State is projected last and that's a 50-50ish game....

re: 247 rating changes after LSU Camp - TheWalrus
I still think 3 or 4 guys who aren't even on the radar end up in the class. I had never heard of Coxie before Jimmys class prediction and I waste way too much time following this stuff....

re: Thoughts On Going WR/WR/WR In Auction Draft - TheWalrus
The thing I hate about loading up on either wideout or running back is you basically take finding a waiver stud out of the equation for the rest of your year at that position. I like to leave one spot relatively open in case I can jump on someone in auction waivers. Everyone is always left with a to...

re: 247 rating changes after LSU Camp - TheWalrus
Those are crystal ball picks by individuals, so they have to change those on their own. Kind of pointless to have that feature when many of the picks are hopelessly outdated. I remember a couple years ago Chuck Baker got bumped to a 4 star after a good camp, had an awful senior season, and ended ...

re: Lowell "Junior" Narcisse Announcement Party (7/27 @ 6pm) - TheWalrus
You did exactly what you said there, some people on the recruiting board are very touchy when it comes to "inside" info, it's a bit ridiculous. The only thing that strikes me as odd about this situation is that it was obvious Narcisse was playing things close to the vest and didn't want to totall...

re: How to project 15-16 year old football players ability in college? - TheWalrus
:rotflmao: You got me there, still high quality DI offers. After reading that, I sounded sort of like a Social Justice Warrior, I apologize for that. I just think if we have the attitude that there is some sort of vendetta to screw over white kids playing "traditionally black positions", it's a...

re: How to project 15-16 year old football players ability in college? - TheWalrus
It's definitely a stigma, but to say that a white kid has no chance is just needless race baiting and lazy. And because I bring facts and evidence to the table, I did some exploring of the 2015 class. The probability is lower for a white receiver, but there are many other factors at play other than ...

re: How to project 15-16 year old football players ability in college? - TheWalrus
At what level could a 15 year old kid, projected to be 6ft 185lb 4.60(40) WR/FS expect to play in college
There are far too many other variables to even remotely have an idea from just that info. Also, do you mean he runs a 4.6 40 now or you project he will run that when he's a...
