re: Do the Miami Dolphins have the best D-line in the NFL? - htran90
no the buffalo bills do and its not close
very much so. I believe each of their starters had 5+ sacks with 2 having 10+ each. I would say Houston would if they had drafted Barr or Mack instead of Clowney....

re: 2016: The year of the Wowzer Deals!!!! (Pelicans Future) - htran90
or he could win 60 in the west and a couple titles with 2 of his best buds.
and dwight would be okay with being the 3rd-4th fiddle? this isn't about making just KD happy, its about making your whole team happy. I think Dwight took a big step in maturity in ceding to Harden. Bu...
The Saints definitely aren't fighting for second.
JJ, White, and Hester aren't either. JJ alone isn't better than DT, Manny Sanders, and Lattimore... Thomas and Manny > JJ, White, and Hester already....

re: So our past few offseasons have just been absolutely terrible - htran90
Cutting ties with veterans like Pierre Thomas & Curtis Lofton
kind of washed up for PT, Lofton played pretty poorly in both run and passing downs.
trading starters for draft picks, Graham, Stills, Grubbs
Grubbs has underwhelmed since the contract he was g...

re: Saints place Jairus Byrd, Marques Colston and Glenn Foster on PUP list - htran90
Colston being on the list doesn't bother me. More reps is always beneficial, but he is still very much in sync with Brees Byrd and Foster being on the list on the other hand worries me....
Stills, cooks, Graham > Cooks, Spiller
On the flip side Unger >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Goodwin Should we remind everyone of the atrocity of pass protection from the center position alone with PFF's scores? -10.5. The miracle of buying your QB time, he becomes more efficie...

re: Saints release Junior Galette - htran90
Considering they weren't shopping him, I wouldn't say it was that big of an issue. They were offered a 1st and an all pro caliber center on a good contract. His production still warranted his cost if we were to keep him, the potential production you get from the trade could be worth more and ...

re: Top 5 NFL QBs right now - htran90
It's like how people wanted to take Brady out of the elite category early on this past year. Those 4 should be given the benefit of the doubt that they are top 4 unless it's a couple years at minimum of poor play. That or other qbs put a couple years of truly elite caliber play to dethrone them. ...

re: USA Today ranks QB's 1-32: Breesus is #3 - htran90
"different directions" They're both rebuilding their lines to make it a run oriented offense. They both have above average qbs that can do a lot. They both suck on defense and spent this off-season trying to build it. Sounds to me like they're pretty much where they are...
Ok I'll remember this next time you try to rank AD higher than guys who have been around for longer. Deal
Comparing apples and oranges when comparing players of different sports. There are a whole lot more 1-hit wonders in the NFL than the NBA. You see QBs like McCown post 2013 n...
The 3 best measures for QB play imo are: YPA TD/Ratio Passer rating
Yeah, know what is a better indicator of the quality of a QB? Consistency. Why do so many people have a problem with putting Big Ben or Flacco in the elite category, because they're both NEVER consistent ye...

re: USA Today ranks QB's 1-32: Breesus is #3 - htran90
Brees' Career Best YPA: 8.54 (2009) > 8.52 (Romo's) Brees' Career Best Completion%: 71.2 (2009) > 69.9 (Romo's) But then again, Romo attempted the 23rd most passes in the league last year so he should be more efficient behind that line and running game. And Romo has arguably the 2nd best WR in t...

re: USA Today ranks QB's 1-32: Breesus is #3 - htran90
Luck had a great year 3, he is everything you would hope for after losing arguably the best QB to ever play the game. His next step is to increase his accuracy, that will put him in the #1-2 QB contention with Rodgers....
