I did not mean commie in the strict economic sense but in the subversive sense.

How goes things in Asheville? You coming to any games in Boone this year?

I know you are. You were always one of my favorites.

But sadly, the real fun died out long ago. Wiki was sort of a force keeping his buddies interested in the poliboard and they challenged conservative and liberal beliefs. He goes, they go too. I mean gmorgan and joshnorris are gone too.

In a game of hot/cold, you're cold.

Or "getting warmer/getting cooler". Whatever they call that.

Oh, you guys mean he actually bought them, not just mined for them? Poor fellow, LOL. That is.... remarkably stupid

If someone bought a shite ton at $3 a piece and sold them at $1200...I wouldn't consider that stupid.

No clue what he did though.

In the process of selling the farm. I usually only go to games in Boone when Bama is playing far away or a patsy. I much preferred our beloved Mountaineers kicking arse in FCS rather than getting butt pounded in the current situation.

Yeah, I was rereading a thread on the Money Board trying to find some info from 2017 (don't ask) and stumbled across this linked thread. I got a chuckle out of it. This should probably be on the MB, but it thread resides here currently.

Spanish soccer coach levels of maximum oof. If that guy had 1000 bitcoins and left them in he’d have over 35 mil today. And I remember balking when they were 600.00 each because they were too expensive. Can I haz redo?

I looked it up.

On August 20th 2015 one bitcoin was $231.

So with a $1000 let's just call it 5 bit coin.
RH has it at $35,800 right now.

So $1000 then would be $179,000
Now.

I'm fricking so fricking pissed I listened to the bitcoin bears. Argghhh.

say you would have bought $1000 worth back then, is it possible to even liquidate that into USD cash today (that much i mean)? Like are these theoretical riches or can they be legit converted.

I mean, if the guy with the hard drive gets in and has his $220MM worth of bitcoin, can he really convert that much?
