Probably raising them on Farmville or crossy roads using bitcoins.

is Bitcoin still around?

Yes, and people are still making money off of it. FWIW, I still think that the technology behind may have viable uses.

One of the smartest guys I know fell deep into that shite. He's been pretty quiet the lase few months.

I'm guessing somewhere, someone made a nice chuck of change off of these people.

You can make money catching a falling knife, too.

Just gotta know when to let go...

I think Wiki left after LSU Russian outed him using his IRL information.
Wrong, as usual.

Wiki's first screen name (before he changed it to "wikitiger") was his IRL first name. Anyone who posted on here since about 2006 knows what his first name is. That's all I know about him. And I never used his name in a post. I once used his first initial in a post and he RA'd me.

He learned my real name and threatened to post my personal information because he was pissed off for me calling him out over his bitcoin BS.

So I called his bluff and posted my real name, my home address, my email address and my cell phone number and asked him if there was anything else he wanted to use to try and intimidate me?

He disappeared not long after that.

That whole SG issue has you obsessed with me. Get over it.

Why? When I first heard of bitcoins they were trading at ~$3 per. Wish I had bought a few.

Oh, you guys mean he actually bought them, not just mined for them? Poor fellow, LOL. That is.... remarkably stupid.

No idea what happened to Wiki, but I'm happy with my bitcoin investment. I bought them at $13 a piece not long after they first appeared. Hit a high of 1200 or 1300, down to around 250 or so the last I checked. I'll just hold on to them in the hopes that they actually become widely accepted, though I don't expect that to happen. If they do, I will be a millionaire.

I would think that something that is worth about 20x what it was a few years ago would be a good investment but I'm no expert and I don't currently have any Bitcoin.

This is solid. I like the way you handled that commie Faith-hating punk.

this site is no less with his absence.

I hope Wiki comes back. He's good people and the poliboard just isn't the same without him and his fringe anarchist buddies. They all pretty much disappeared when Wiki disappeared.

Libertarians vs anarchists there was pretty damn entertaining.
