Why would you do that? And didn't you get in pretty high?

long story,
initial purchase at 25
bought more at 14 (3x orig shares)
sold new shares at 16
bought back at 14.5

if I sold now, it only be short term, day or 2, hoping for another dip off the fast run up today, but I didn't and will just continue to hold for next 2-3 months.

My intent is to be long UGAZ through winter, but trade some options along the way and maybe go out and in of UGAZ if I think it makes a quick jump and is going to correct down a little....

but as I keep saying, I have no idea what I'm doing on this, Golf and Force are the ones who have the answers

ETA: Oh, forgot, 'bama is also in the know

Three more huge injections are projected. All above 100. Today was brutal. I kept my puts, but they have a long way home tomorrow.

Strangest thing. I know expiry was a factor, but something else has to be going on. The dollar recovered, but even when it was down gold was up, but silver was just getting crushed again.

I'll check tomorrow morning, but I'm leaving for Purdue, so I'll either dump or do it in the car on the way there.

Last Thursday I made money and left a bunch on the table. I was really nervous about last Thursday. Today everything set up perfectly, and just went brutally wrong.

A glimmer of hope tomorrow, but I'll be short again next Thursday, and staying long Jan/Feb.

Sorry if you followed me in to the slaughter.

I just don't think the reward is worth it with the prices you got in. You'll be making a very small profit and then hoping it goes back down. If it goes up then you missed out on some legit gains.

I've bought and sold a few times over the last 3 weeks, but each time was 10-15% gains. If it gets up to 16 or so then I can see why you'd do it, but at the current price it's kinda pointless for you.

I by no means know anymore about how these etf's/etn's work than you do, I just don't see a positive risk/reward in your particular case.

I don't consider 4-5% in a day or 2 small or pointless, but that's just a matter of personal strategy.

The question to me is not what my gain or loss is when deciding whether to sell, but what direction I think the price is going. I don't care whether I'm up 50% or down 50%, if I think the price is going to fall, I'm going to sell when doing short term trading.

forget about it! I broke even on my options trade (less commissions), which I was more than happy to do considering the situation. I put in .20 limit order...exactly one order filled that high, mine

got lucky, the ones before and after were 13ish....

I still have my UGAZ and will hold for a while, but may go out and in if I think somethings going to happen

good luck with the boilermakers

Boiler Up!

I think I'll get killed on the options today. Likely will expire worthless. I was up 70% at one point.

Good hit getting out at .20 Skule. Preserved capital for next week.

It's a basketball school so the stands are empty. They have a huge drum (2:38 in clip).

They drive this on the field.

I like the road trip because of good steak and home made rolls here:

Use your week off well, and kill Auburn. Any team that hires a coach from ISU is low class garbage in my opinion. Seems to be true of Auburn.

Dude, not cool. First, while most fans hated the hiring of Chizik (he was booed at airport on live tv), he was an extremely successful DC and Broyles award winner. Had nothign to do with his stint at ISU

Also, I don't understand why every Big10 fan I know trashes Auburn so much over the top of their standard SEC hate. We rarely play Big 10 teams, we don't recruit in your neck of the woods typically and our fans aren't any more obnoxious than the avg.

yeah, our's is kinda like that
lsu pregame

and while we don't have a choo choo train on the field, we do have a live tiger we bring on the field
Mike the Tiger

in pre-peta days, we used to poke him with a long stick to get him to roar for the crowd

No disrespect to you Gene. There were some comments made, and Chiz told players to take cheap shots. Something along the lines of take their knees out and end their careers.

But seriously, if this turns into an IM thread it could get whacked. Lets try and stay on topic.

Gas Daily reporting that the strong injection was ignored by folks finally looking at their weather models showing another long and strong winter. Your January straddle should be in good shape, Golfer.

I think so. Yesterday's play was painful though. Now I'm unclear how to play the next three weeks which are all projected injections over 100.

I'm out of here.

I don't count this seeing what happened to Glen Dorsey against Auburn...

Where does everyone stand on UGAZ? I'm thinking about taking profits today and waiting for a dip. Since the injection reports were higher than expected (yes?) then shouldn't there be some downward pressure soon?

Disclaimer: I'm here for the ride and to learn. I don't know anything.

$15.45 in pre market...

and rising...15.7 now

I was thinking of getting out last week, but didn't. I'm going to stay in as long as we're moving up, may sell if we plateau or start back down
