I agree with all of this. It’s just difficult to average up when you’re in it as low as I am. ...

It does look like you can buy BTFX at a premium discount, but that's largely meaningless due to their redemption policies. This said, for a day trader you could potentially arbitrage due to this. It would be difficult, and I don't think hugely profitable. ...

BTFX owns futures, so would be subject to continual rolling of forward contracts. Forward contracts might not be correct, I'd need to think through that, as well as contango and backwardation. I didn't take the time to find out if it is a rust, note or what exactly it is. It's leveraged, so s...

As far as I can find out FBTC is a trust that tracks an index. But it does hold BTC. 4868.9895 BTC. Looking briefly it looks like they own stock in exchanges as well, and possibly, not sure, indirectly hold BTC this way. It's leveraged, so by definition it's subject to decay. It's not a note, so no ...

Time decay and if they hold futures, and bunch of other concerns. In order for the trade to work it almost always needs to be short term. Levered products are for short term trades. Products that track price by holding futures, or possibly even an index, need to have those futures constantly rolled ...

I get it. I had $25K calls on BTC and that settled physical BTC. I settled the ETH in cash, and sold the physical ETH. I haven't really looked into BTC stocks, or miners. I should as some of them have a lot of physical BTC on their books. ...

LedgerX used to physically settle some futures and options. They are no longer listing physically settled derivatives after June 28, 2024 expiry. I'm not sure which regulated exchanges physically settle now. For those that like to sell puts to lower their cost of entry into BTC (or ETH),...

I spend time at one of their social clubs. As an invited guest. They are (Colombo) generally blue collar, but not always. Tom Mix isn't blue collar as an example. My neighbor in Pompano Beach in the winter is a Colombo. I know a lot of them. At one time I made sports book, and I laid off to them in ...
Michael is correct. Micheal also embellishes and exaggerates, although I don’t think he did here. I’ve met him. I’ll just leave it at that. Met Trump also. Their personalities are similar, as is mine. Voted for Trump twice. Will very likely vote for him again. Can’t believe the mad rush to war b...
My takeaway from this, outside of the bailout and too big to fail, was Yellen lied, and China got bailed out and paid back. The bribery and corruption is right in the news, and most miss it. They are emboldened and arrogant. The last time they were this wide open about everything was rig...

I shorted UNG (long put) when the news sensationalized what was to be record high prices. I watched the five year gas in storage averages come back from 25% below five year averages, to almost 18% above five year averages today. I still haven't completely exited the UNG long put position. Needless t...
