I'd fit Hamilton and Tony Moss into a top ten.

Probably not kosher to spinoff my own thread, but better receiving corps:

Wendell Davis, Rogie Magee and Tony Moss was pretty freakin stout...

Landry's two against Arkansas in 2012-13 were better than Odell's SNF grab if you ask me.

I would hope no one asks you this.

It's funny that you say OBJ is flashier because the two catches Juice made vs Arky were probably flashier than anything OBJ ever did in college

You mentioned the one-handed kickoff grab, how about the one-hander vs. Iowa. He also completely took over the '13 MSU game. It's like people think you're a better LSU fan if you prefer Landry

Not sure why he keeps slipping my mind.

Is there really a Landry vs OBJ debate here?

I was a big LaFell fan, but he didn't stick out to me when coming up with my list.

I think this is why a lot of younger people will mention LaFell. He was THE guy for a year or so. He struggled early in his career like many young receivers. While he was talented at LSU, I just never felt like he was a game changing talent.

Odell was probably better but Jarvis stood out to me so much more over his LSU career

Doucet has been discussed. I think he's just outside most people's top 10.

ETA Damn your edit. I was about to comment on Doucet AND Randle

I think Terrence Toliver needs some mention. I remember his money catch against Florida in '10, and he had an unfortunate span of QB's throwing to him. The dark era between '07 and '11.

And this is why he is underrated. There were several games where he was the best player on the field. People still view him as that Freshman who went deep a bunch. He turned himself into a complete WR and our best offensive player.

Another useless "Best ever"...thread. Especially useless from the fact that the vast majority of replies are from 20 year olds who know nothing of players from the past. Just stupid!

Green shouldn't make a top 25 list.

The more I read this thread, the guiltier I feel not giving him at least an honorable mention. I remember how he stepped up during that Auburn game in '08 when Lee was really struggling at first. Caught the game winning TD.

Josh Reed was the most productive and has to be top 5.

Wendell Davis also must be on the list.

The remaining 3 should come from the following group IMO:

Odell Beckham
Jarvis Landry
Dwayne Bowe
Eric Martin
Todd Kinchen
Tony Moss
Craig Davis
Brandon LaFell
Michael Clayton

Craig Davis?

I'm surprised no Eddie Kennison in your short list.

I agree Reed and Wendell are 1a and 1b. The rest of your list I mostly agree with though I wouldn't put LaFell on it either.

Just looked at his stats. Not super impressive. But that could be reflective of the teams he played on.
