re: Count me in for Orgeron - duboisd
I just want us to play up to our potential. Would hate to lose Orgeron, which will happen if he doesn't get this job....

Count me in for Orgeron - duboisd
I think Orgeron would be a great head coach for us. He's from here, it's his dream job, and he's a damn good recruiter. If he were to do a good job the rest of this year, I'd be for keeping him. Call me crazy, but I think he's learned from his stint at Ole Piss and USC....

re: Has there ever been a fanbase more sure of who they want to hire in Tom Herman? - duboisd
Is there a fan base that wouldn't want Herman for their opening?...

re: Loss 100% on players. Not Miles. Not coaches. Not plays. Not fraud clock guy. - duboisd
The fact that there was no urgency and not knowing where to line up, which has happened too many times to mention, is directly on coaching. I am a coach. If my kids don't know where to line up, don't know how to run a two-minute drill, that is squarely on my shoulders....

re: Going to a game without tickets - duboisd
I appreciate it! You have guessed correctly. My son is a 14 yr old freshman. He loves LSU because that's how he's been raised. He watched the entire 9-6 over Alabama in 2011 and he's been hooked on LSU games ever since. He has some potential to play at the next level, but not LSU potential. He...

re: Going to a game without tickets - duboisd
Well aren't you? Seriously, the only reason I said that was because that is our bye week and therefore the only Saturday I have off. I didn't want to have to explain why I was going to Southern Miss game instead of a bigger one. But I had to anyways, so thanks. :geauxtigers:...

Going to a game without tickets - duboisd
I coach high school football in west Texas. I'd like to drive over for the Southern Miss game with my son. How difficult would it be to get tickets at the game? Would it be smarter to get tickets before I come? Thanks...

re: Some of you saw a different game - duboisd
What O-Line can take injuries to three starters? The reason those backups don't play is because they are not as good as the guy that starts. It stands to reason that if the starters go out, then the quality will go down. Right?...

re: Some of you saw a different game - duboisd
If Fournette doesn't fumble twice in plus territory, we are having a different conversation. Both times we were moving the ball. When we have the ball in the shadow of our own goal posts most of the second half, it's tough. Had we just run the ball, we would be screaming about how conservative we...

re: Anyone have experience watching LSU games in Europe? - duboisd
If you are military you'll have no problem. I was stationed in Germany from 96-00 and was able to watch some on AFN. That was when AFN only had one station. I was in Qatar in 2007 and watched every game except cupcakes on AFN. Watching night games will suck for you because you'll have to get up at 3...

re: Aranda at Coaches Clinic - duboisd
GrandDad I'm telling you we are not the only ones. Greg Davis, OC at Iowa, spoke before Aranda. A good portion of their staff was there, including Ferentz, and they stayed not only to hear his presentation, but came to the 1 1/2 hour breakout session upstairs. He's respected in the coaching profe...

re: Aranda at Coaches Clinic - duboisd
He's definitely putting in work. He said his family just arrived in Baton Rouge on Sunday, then he left Monday for DeSoto, Tuesday in Houston, and Wednesday in San Angelo. Of course he's compensated handsomely, but still!...
