If the violation was multiple failed drug tests he violated University policy, if that's true Les had very little wiggle room.
Minimum as per LSU policy is one year suspension from athletic competition
It's a good and fair policy but Les' hands were tied if it was drug tests

No, no f*cking "props" to Coach Miles. You know what would have merited props? Instilling discipline in your team so that you didn't have to dismiss your best f*cking player. That would have been the optimal outcome.
Lauding Miles is like lauding a father who turns his teenage son in for some crime. Yeah, it's the right thing to do given the terrible circumstances. But it would have been exponentially better had the father done a better job rearing the child so that he didn't commit a crime in the first fricking instance. That's what a good parent does.
And a good coach instills discipline in his team, especially when he is already on notice that one of his stars has a penchant for this type of behaviour.

Would LSU have been violating NCAA rules had it allowed TM to stay?

Except it's the same thing as if that father had no contact with that teenage son until after they turned 18. And also, he doesn't live with that son. And also, he has 100 other kids. And can have court mandated limited contact with that son throughout the year.

NCAA rules are you can't smoke synthetic weed, but they don't test for it yet. So, we could have stopped testing for synthetic if that's what it was.

If anyone at LSU, within or outside of the football program discovered a rule was broken by TM and thus followed protocol which led to TM's dismissal from school and the team, that my friends is the definition of Institutional Control.

His attitude on the field was good. It was his discipline off the team (that frankly isn't a big deal to me) that got him in trouble.

Yeah, you're right, you dunderheaded apologist dipsh*t. It isn't the coach's job to instill discpline in the team, right? That's not Miles job, correct? It wasn't Miles' responsibility to step in an take every step possible to ensure that his best defensive player remained on the field, true?
And in the last twelve months:
(1) Shady's incident;
(2) Shepard suspended by NCAA;
(3) TM/Ware suspended for drug use;
(4) TM dismissed.
And none of that is Miles' responsibility as head coach, eithr, right? It's all just a product of bad luck and those darn pesky, capricious kids, right? Oh gee, just tough luck.
I swear to God, I wonder how some of our so called fanbase can even find the internet.
