I won't. I loved the way that guy played football.
From the time he was a freshman onwards.

Just a perfect instinctual football player. Polamalu esque.

Let's not try to synthesize this decision. TM7 was great, and I'm grateful for all the moments he gave us.

I'm quite sure Les didn't have much of a choice.

It's too hard to tell. For all we know Les was lobbying with the university to let this slide and let Les take care of this "in house".

les has proven to give a fair amount of chances, but if this school rule was bad enough to warrant expulsion, Les deserves no credit.

Major props to Miles he put the team first before an individual. As far as Mathiew is concerned what a freakin dummy.

or do you "just know"

Of course he didn't want to...

Why would Les Miles or any coach ever WANT to kick a player of tm7's caliber off the team? He wouldn't have done it if tm7 gave him a choice.

well regardless of what and who made the decision, this only comes off as positive for this program, in the wake of people trying to win at all costs.

it's sad that TM7 who had such an unbalanced childhood, couldn't keep his stuff together.

The young man has apparently made many mistakes, and he did not learn from them. Miles has obviously worked with him, and I have to respect Miles for this decision. I wish that I had the God given talent that Mathieu has; I would not have wasted it.

the NFL loves taking undersized prospects who were kicked out of major programs for (alleged) drug use and investing money in them after they've sat out for a year.

LOL

And again, only Les Miles could have this much trouble on his team year after year and still have people praising him for his off-the-field program management.

Maybe so, but I am sure if this was a school issue, the announcement was going to be made through the football program. It is one thing to acknowledge LSU and their ability to put the University ahead of the football program in the wake of the PSU disaster , but to credit Miles is another.
