I'm actually a PETA member and even I'm like "hey, that's a pretty good deal for a tiger. That habitat is better than my house by far"

Had Mike been out in the wild when he was diagnosed & left to fend for himself, he would have died a miserable, painful death all alone. Or else in his weakened state, all the other predators would have chewed him to pieces, slowly & painfully. Picture that death & compare it to how he ended his life here at LSU, surrounded by love & unlimited medical care.
